Just for today I'm not going to late night snack on sugary junk and give myself sore teeth and I will drink lots more water and go on the treadmill to do 20 minutes of walking0
-
Just for today I will avoid sweets0
-
Yesterday I went to power yoga instead of ellipticals, but feel like I got in cardio (and strength) so I'm counting it as a flexible success.
Just For Today, I will
Eat the meals and snacks I prepare for myself
Get in 30-60 min ellipticals
Eat sanely at dinner even though we're celebrating
Have 2 bites of dessert (I don't want to backtrack with sugar)0 -
Jft 8/21
I'm still logging my calories. I just have a general goal. So as long as I don't go way over, I'm good. I've had a couple of personal training appointments, so that is going well.
For today, I will stand my ground when I need to, communicate concisely, and not complain about unimportant stuff.

Hit calories.
Cooked some stuff for a friend's birthday picnic tomorrow, including a new (not very healthy) recipe for an ' Apple rose puff' which does contain some jam. Tried one to make sure I could serve it so technically missed my no sugar goal today.0 -
Saturday's goals:
- relax and enjoy the day
- eat sensibly at the picnic
- ok to have some sugar today - just be sensible and STOP!!0 -
Forgive myself for the bad eating choices I have made and get back on track. Drink alot of water tonight and pack my bag for the gym tonight. I am going to do my Saturday cleaning tonight so I can focus on me while I am at the gym0

I will take a walk around the lake down the road,
I will do 15 minutes of jump rope.
WELCOME! personally, for ME, 'the community' is the best part of MFP. i swear, it's like free therapy!!
Thank you! I really love seeing everyone's progress and motivation here!

Starting again. Trying not to feel the guilt over the failure once again. Today's goals
- track every thing
- Walk for 30 minutes
I saw this quote this morning, and feel exactly like you do. I have tried and tried so many times, "starting over" again and again. But we are only a failure when we give up. I'm starting fresh again today. You are to. We can do this!
"You may have a fresh start any moment you choose, for this thing we call 'failure' is not the falling down, but the staying down."
Thank you0 -
Welcome to this great site!
A working Saturday for me, so JFT
1. Walk 30 min
2. Stay within basic calories
3. Drink 10 glasses of water
4. Calming thoughts throughout the day.

For today:
I will work out for 40 minutes
For today I will stay under my calorie goal and won't overindulge in any single food.
For today I will verbalize the reasons I'm becoming healthier, morning and afternoon.
For today I will insure I'm positive in all interactions with my boss
Lost a battle with the couch last night, ended up 20% over my calorie goal.
Did work out for 40 minutes and completed my verbalization in the morning.
Great work day.
For today:
I will start a new under calorie goal streak
I will work out for 80 minutes. Flip my walk to this morning to avoid the heat and do my Saturday workout mindfully, no music or TV
I will verbalize the reasons I'm becoming healthier; morning and afternoon
I will show my wife my grateful list. Betting she can add to it0 -

My niece and her partner have come home from USA with their 11 month old daughter, Sarah, to meet the family. She is so adorable. Born 3 months premature at 2 lb 1 oz last September, now a thriving 13 lb plus. So...
