chrisdavey... the cottage cheese with protein powder and chocolate... in the freezer? I think I'm going to have to take your word for it!0
-
fridge works as well but I like it extra cold. It's like a protein pudding0

Saving this because the food looks so yummy! (and colourful!) although having fruit and hot food on one plate would freak me out.0

Seared Ahi Salad! My favorite.
Black pepper and sesame coated ahi, seared rare on a bed of mixed greens, arugula, mini heirloom tomatoes, and grilled bell peppers. Delicious!0 -
yum0

Hahaha. I thought it was weird to be taking pictures of my food, but sometimes I just couldn't help it.
I wish I could have gotten a better picture of this one. It was seriously a TON of berries.
Strawberries, Blueberries, Blackberries, and Raspberries (170 cals)
And, now, to ruin all this good healthy looking food, here's my flat-out pizza!
1 Flat Out Light Italian Wrap (90 cals)
1/4 cup light mozzarella cheese (70 cals)
1/4 cup pizza sauce (30 cals)
10 Hormel turkey pepperonis (40 cals)
Bake in oven until cheese is melted or toast in toaster oven.
Total: 230 cals0 -

Thanks!! I could eat ahi tuna every day (if I could afford it lol) I got this tuna steak at whole foods market, so it was never frozen and was absolutely delicious. I can't believe something so delicious is also healthy!0 -
I text pictures of my meals all the time to friends. When I go through my phone to show someone a picture of my kid or something I'm always a little embarrassed about having so many pictures of my food, but proud of how healthy they are. I'll try to email them to myself to upload here.0

Yeah, but you made it a light alternative and it looks delicious. Being able to have something that seems like a treat but still doesn't blow a days worth of calories is great. And there are so many things to add that would personalize it without adding more than a few calories. Diced onions, jalapenos, peppers, tomatoes, etc. Turkey pepperoni is something I am still trying to get used to. I'm not quite there yet.0 -
so how did u get the info like that at the bottom of pic?? i will have to take some pics and get back to ya..0

Tilapia tacos with basil sour cream 136 c each. Yum!
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmagnesium! Edamame roasted with coconut oil (zero calories and great for you!) salt, pepper, red peppers and tapatio. Maybe too much tapatio 360 cal total
2 amylu chicken patties, 1 80 calories and delicious bun, lettuce, tomato, pickles, brown mustard, 4 grilled asparagus spears: 409 calories
Beeman chicken apple gouda sausage (110c each), 80 calories and delicious hot dog buns (80c each, duh). Yummo! 380c pig out!
TURKEY MEATCAKES
1.5 lb ground turkey
1/2 cup egg substitute
3/4 cup V8
2/3 cup corn chex crumbs
pepper
1 tsp no salt seasoning
mush it up and put 1/4 cup into cupcake foils
bake at 350 until 175f or about 16 mins
measure out 2tbsp (Sweet Baby Ray's) bbq sauce and brush it over the meatcakes
Cauliflower Mash:
Steam 1 head of cauliflower florets, makes about 20 oz cooked
3 tbsp smart balance margarine
1/4 cup reduced fat milk
1 tsp no salt seasoning
mix
(I used just a stand mixer, but I think if I were to put it in a blender or food processor it would turn out smoother, this was my first try at cauliflower mash. I also want to try this with a parsnip puree sometime)
frost your meatcakes with 1tbsp mash each and enjoy.
Around 90 calories each.0 -

home made pizza pockets (or just pockets... pizza is all in the decision of what you put in there)
super tasty and fun to make - waaayy healthier than the ones you buy at the shop - perfect for freezing and delicious defrosted in the microwave or oven - so easy!!
I make the dough using my bread machine and 300g wholemeal flour + 1Tbsp oil and water (whatever your bread mix tells you) - use the dough setting and when it is ready break into 10 even bits. Roll out to the size of your hand and place 60g/2Tbsp of filling into each, pull the edges up into the middle and pinch to seal - place with seam down onto baking paper and place in the oven at 200C for 15-20mins, until bread is browned and baked. Can dress them up with a milk or egg wash when baking.
So far I have made more eastern european flavours working from piroshki recipes - one was leek, mushroom, low fat sour cream and dill and came to 55cals per roll.
Next was beef mince, grated carrot, onion, dill, bit of low fat mayo for 90cals per roll
The bready outside is 120cals - so all up one filled roll can be between 160-220cals depending on what you add
Next I am going to make a spinach and feta filling using some cottage cheese and egg to hold it all together and also a true pizza pocket but crammed full of veggies (mushroom, onion, capsicum, capers) and with just a bit of ham and cheese
I love these guys! Using these proportions of bread to filling they came out the same size as mcains pizza pockets - so I tend to have one pocket and a bit of salad or some veggies for a meal - or if it is a dinner and I have not had lots of cals elsewhere I may have 2 pockets - which is heaps and still under 400 cals0 -
Great meals. MMMM. My breakfest sometime is very blend. Do u have any suggestions?0

A little bit runnier of consistency than I usually have for oatz, but this is my lunch today. I'm too lazy for great presentation now, but it tastes delicious.
Having trouble resizing the recipe.0 -
Roast chicken breast with a bit of skin, pesto peas, and tomato, cress and spinach wholewheat couscous.
I had a massive portion and its all quite high in fat so a whopping 495 for the plate but I went for a good swim today, am under on calories and only 2 points over on fat, so I enjoyed it, especially the skin >:-)

Tuna-Avocado Salad
yellowfin tuna
1/2 avocado
romaine
baby cuke
grape tomatoes
green onion
radishes
2 T avocado oil
herbes de Provence
569 calories --- 240 calories of which is the avocado oil! --- not for the faint of heart, so to speak. lol
I'm a low-carber so the fat isn't a concern for me. You could of course use a lower calorie/fat version of dressing depending on what type of food plan you follow.0
