So this week had two days of horrible eating and to be honest I thought of throwing in the towel but I'm tired of quitting and starting over. I Stepped on the scale and couldn't believe that in two weeks I've lost 5 pounds. Stay encouraged friends. Even if you have a "bad" day its still better than your former lifestyle. Nobody can change your life but you. Give this challenge everything you've got. I think we should add our total pounds up together when its over.

Glad so many of you are doing well- I on the other hand didn't do so great last week. I did stay under calories most days, but only lost 0.5 lb - I think part of the problem is that the quality of the calories was very poor.... AND no exercise!!! I was so excited to join this challenge and thought the first week would be a breeze- just drink more water....failed at that too!!! Ok enough of the pity party - I've got to get on track
Hi there, abc63. That's exactly what I've been trying to do for myself - I have been trying to consume food that has better nutrition for the calorie content. But you still lost weight, and that is great! Keep tracking and eat better and the weight will come off!

Weight when I restarted this round of MFP tracking: 146.8 (Weighed the Wednesday before the challenge started).
Weight 1st week (weighed 8/30): 145.4
Weight last week: 144.4
Weight this week: 142.8
Lost 2.6 pounds so far for the challenge!
(Total weight loss so far this round: 3.8 pounds)
Slowly weaning off so much sugar and grains. Going Whole 30 next week, but that's more for health and not for weight loss.0 -
Checking in at 148.8—not much of a loss this week, only .8 of a pound, but I'll take it.

Hi everyone. Too late to join? I need a reason to recommit. I had an off night last night and instead of ignoring the calorie bombs, I sucked it up and logged them all. Too bad I can't lose weight eating 2,300 calories a day. (I'm sure there's someone out there who can though. Envious!)

No loss this week, which isn't surprising considering the holiday weekend.
I hope to lose 2lbs by next week.0 -
3rd weigh in. I did not stay committed to staying healthy last weekend, so even though I was much better with food and exercise Tues though Fri, I gained nearly a pound. I am really motivated today, and just need to be cautious at social gatherings when it is so easy to graze.

I'm in! Started Sept 1 at 150 lbs, down to 145.5 lbs today. A little stomach bug caused me to lose more than I expected.0

I'm def in healthy range and I've been squatting with weights for last month and have seen some improvement in toning but I think I still I need to shed couple pounds.

I'm still in it. My Mom fell and broke her leg in 4 places and had to have surgery so I've been dealing with that.

Gained 2 pounds but still down 3. I'll chalk that up to less activity this week. And the beat goes on. Keep at it all! We have to keep motivated and stay confident because its already been 3 weeks! Very proud of our group.0

I had a bad week, no exercise and lots of social eating due to my Grandpa being in town. We went to my parents' house a lot and I was not in control of cooking, although I tried to watch portions. I have no regrets tho, I maintained and you can't ever get time back with family. I am Italian so lots of pasta and social eating! I am getting back on the wagon this week, going grocery shopping this afternoon! Happy weighing everyone!0 -
