    Yesterday was the Nut Roll. This was my first organized ride ever. It was awesome, except for the pouring rain the ENTIRE TIME!!! Haha.
    It wasn't so bad, a friend rode with me and we chatted the whole time.
    31.75 miles at an average of 14.4 mph.

    I'm barely at goal pace, and with some extra work load coming up I really need to start logging more miles soon or I'll be behind the curve.

    My goal was 200 miles, and as of today I'm only at 102 on the bike.

    Spring has sprung ... or so they tell us. But hopefully with the longer daylight hours and potentially warming temps I might be able to get out there and ride more!!

    I'd like to be up and over 200 km cycling outside ... plus I'll probably end up doing a bit inside as well.

    Saturday 5 September -- 16 km (50 min) ... outside!

    A bit breezy but otherwise not too bad.
    Friday 11 September -- 35 minutes on the trainer!!

    Better than nothing.

    Generally, I get to ride outside twice a week and spend the rest of the days on a stationary bike. I'm going to aim for a total of 250 miles and see what happens.

    Had to cut my Saturday ride short because of other commitments, and I went out to the garage to load up the bike, had a flat tire on the bike, and had to replace the tube. So that cut into my ride time as well. Was hoping to do 45 miles, only got to do 32. Which is really a bummer because it was a beautiful, sunny, bright blue sky day. :-(

    My goal to cycle 1,000 km in 90 days may be lost already after just shy of 211 km. Broke my rear axle on a trail ride last night and had to walk it 10 km home. Got other wheels laying around, just not sure if they are the right size.

    For the week I am at 85.28 km, which is above by 77km a week goal, so as long as I get my ride fixed soon I may still meet my overall goal.

    Was a little short last month but had 2 weeks of crazy business hope to not have here. Goal 300

    9/2 - 20.01 miles, road bike, Riding with the Wed. night group 15.43 ave.
    9/3 - 6.08 miles road bike, short ride so pushed it, 16.02 ave.
    9/5 - 16.40 miles, road bike, chased home by a thunderstorm (windy) 14.75 ave
    9/6 - 36.1miles, road bike, rode bike trail, 97 degrees, 14.02 ave.
    9/9 - 19.97 miles, road bike, rode with the Wed. night group. 15.02 ave.
    9/10 - 6.0 miles, road bike, quick ride before it got dark.
    9/14 - 11.15 miles, road bike, quick ride before dark, went on 10 hr days at work uuggg!

    My leg seems likes its finally back to normal and its let me get out the past few days to ride some singletrack.
    Over the past couple months I struggled getting past a particular rock section and last night I finally figured it out.
