    well that was an energetic day yesterday!!!

    dragged myself out of bed in the dark to go for a morning walk, then ended up cycling part of my work journey having dropped my car at the garage for a service. Pretty much cycle path all the way apart from the last bit which is a rocky muddy bridle path up a steep hill. and no I didn't cycle that bit!!!

    then back down the hill at the end of the day (I love my bike so much - I nearly made it all the way down before I bottled it!!

    and THEN went for a two hour energetic shag class. My legs were TIRED at the end of it!!!

    didn't make my morning walk this morning but I think I'm allowed that!!!

    Cycling - 28/ 60 miles
    Walking - 63.5/40 miles
    Swim - 32/100 laps
    Swing/blues class - 6/ 4 times

    Total mileage target - 91.5/ 100 miles -nearly there!!!!!

    I had a walk this evening. It was to the pub though.... A fairly standard session beer followed by a nice pint of best. And the local membership manager of CAMRA trying to get me to lower the average age of its members by joining....

    It is starting to wear me down ... but fortunately my course will be complete in 26 days. The countdown is ON.

    I painted the whole day and didn't have time for a walk. I'm going to have to walk just over 6 miles tomorrow to reach my goal. I'll have to do it right away in the morning!

    Long days at work and shorter eve. has taken a toll on my riding.
    Plan a ride tonight with the Wednesday night riding group. Usually 8 to 14 meet to ride the trail.

    @fanncy- Good job on your steps and getting so close, you can do it!! Nice pic change too..
    @machka- You have done so well with all you have on your plate. It's not food either by the change you have accompolished.
    @homemademama- way to be consistant knocking down those miles.
    @ girlinahat- couldn't forget you my pub girl lol. Cheers to another good month!

    for a moment there looking at my spreadsheet I thought I'd missed my target by a mile!!! Luckily it's the other way round and I am JUST over!!

    I'm back... Didn't quite make it last month but sticking with the 300 again this month

    9/2 - 20.01 miles, road bike, riding with the Wed. night group
    9/3 - 6.08 miles, road bike, pushed short ride, 16.02 ave.
    9/5 - 16.40 miles, road bike, chased home by a thunderstorm (windy) 14.75 ave
    9/6 - 36.1 miles, road bike, rode trail, 97 degrees, 14.02 ave.
    9/9 - 19.97 miles, road bike, riding with the Wed. night group
    9/10 - 6.0 miles, road bike, short ride before it got dark
    9/14 - 11.15 miles, road bike, short ride before dark, on 10 hrs days at work uggg......
    9/16 - 16.06 miles, road bike, rode with the Wed. night group around Bass Lake.
    9/17 - 6.04 miles, road bike, short ride before dark
    9/23 - 18.99 miles, road bike, rode with the Wed. night group
    9/30 - 19.20 miles, road bike, rode with the wed. night group

    Boy missed it by a mile, alot of miles. To much work and not enough play time!

    THANK YOU for all the well wishes and prayer. WE really need the prayer...We've been down and we've been up. Mom is still in ICU...I got some walking in between visits....Walking helped. I walked, I prayed.
