Got 6.5 miles in with the hubby tonight on the bikes.
My friend atucker_mom and I are gonna do a 5K in August. (I am so proud of her). Maybe she will run a marathon with me someday!0 -

97 and humid today so we went mall walking instead of biking. I added another 3+ miles for a total of 27.11 so far... WELL on track for my goal of 100. w00t! :bigsmile:0

9 miles in 30 minutes of spin class...and those were hard earned miles as we were up off that seat most of the class. I have a feeling my quads are going to be filing a formal complaint around noon today!0

Did a 1.5 mile test run in my beat-up hikers that I was thinking of wearing for the Warrior Dash on Saturday, on a rough and ragged trail where I had to leap over a fallen tree... twice. And managed a faster pace than I typically do on streets and sidewalks. So... yeah. Pretty sure those shoes will work for the Dash.
I had them set aside for next time I do a Salvation Army donation, but I'll just donate them after the run, and take another pair of shoes.0 -
Went walking in the mall yesterday, (it was waaay too hot & humid to walk outside) got in 3.1 miles. That's a total of 5.1 miles so far, only 19.9 left to go!0

One week in and my allergies kicked my butt! I set my goal at 5 miles a week, and I've only got in 1.35..I need to step it up!0

I walked 1.3 miles + 2.0 miles = 3.3 miles for the day Yay!

5 k run... Used Runkeeper app for the first time and cut a minute off my time as that lady kept telling me how fast I was going and I was afraid to slow down
i LOVE runkeeper...i have been using it since aug 2009....
ps updated ticker with my 1mile before and after wts last night....
I LOVE RUNKEEPER THREE!!!! It helped a lot when I was doing the training for the Avon Walk.
After the walk, I had a crazy muscle spasm thingy going on in my left shoulder (go figure, not in my legs :huh: ). So, today I went in for a one hour massage My first and it was AMAZING!!!!
BUT, before I did that, I did the following:
1.92 miles jogged on the treadmill
1.63 miles walked to the place where I got my massage (I was going to go in the sauna first, but Chicago provided a free sauna for me on the way :laugh: )
Total mileage for today: 3.55 miles!! I hope to transition more into miles run than walked. And I am starting the 30 Day EA Active Challenge this afternoon. :drinker:
My staycation has been fabulous thus far!!!

Ran 2.15, then walked .25 to cool down for a total of 2.4 for the day.
It was my last run before Warrior Dash on Saturday. I think after tackling the hills in my 'hood at 80 degrees and 75% humidity today, woods, mud, creeks and swamps are going feel cool and refreshing!0 -
.52 - slogging and 10.7 on the spin bike. 11.22 miles for the morning!0
