I love Stuffed Pepper Soup! Even though the directions do not say to make in the crockpot, I always do. I also use ground turkey and brown rice to make it even healthier. I don't use hot sauce but I do put in some red pepper flakes.
    Ingredients
    1 lb lean ground beef
    2 Tbsp olive oil, divided
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
1 small yellow onion chopped (1 cup)
3/4 cup chopped red bell pepper (a little over 1/2 of a medium)
3/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
2 (14.5 oz) cans petite diced tomatoes
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
    1 (14.5) can beef broth
2 1/2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
    1/2 tsp dried basil
    1/4 tsp dried oregano
1 cup uncooked long grain white or brown rice (I've tried and like both)
Cheddar or mozzarella cheese, for serving (optional)

I'm loving this thread! I'll add my favorite 5 ingredient or less:

    Guinness Corned Beef

1 corned beef brisket w/seasoning packet
    1 c. brown sugar
    2-3 bottles Guinness

Place brisket in crock and cover with seasoning packet and brown sugar. Cover with the beer and cook on low 8 hours. You can add some cabbage toward the end of the cooking time, but I usually make mine separately.

    Cranberry Pork Roast

    3-4 lb. pork roast, trimmed
1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
    1/3 c. Italian dressing
    1 onion, sliced

Place roast in crock; mix remaining ingredients together and pour over. Cook on low 7-8 hours.

    Split Pea Soup

1 bag green split peas; rinsed
    1 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 c. chopped carrot
    2 lbs. smoked ham hocks
    7 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste

Throw it all in the crock, cook on low 8-10 hours. The longer the better IMO. Take out the hocks and remove the meat, return to slow cooker, stir and serve. A nice dark pumpernickel goes great with this.

    Curry Chicken
Onions (browned at at the bottom) + Golden Curry Squares + potatoes + Carrots + Chicken quarters.

optional: Add in peeled boiled eggs for the last 30 minutes. I just like curry flavored eggs.

    Server over rice.

I have sooooooo many crockpot recipes and for the life of me, not one of them are 5 or less unless it is just something like bbq pork, bbq chicken...

I like the ones above except the slit pea soup... The other thread called bring your crockpot recipes is going on as well if you want to check that thread out..

    Bumping this as well...

Yeah I know, I like that thread but if there are too many ingredients I just skip it. Too much work.

Taco junk is a favorite! 1 lb of meat (either cooked ground beef or raw chicken), can of Rotel or jar of salsa, can of drained corn, can of rinsed/drained black beans, packet of taco seasoning. Some people add a packet of ranch but we try to watch sodium so I skip. Cook it on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Eat with baked tortilla chips, in tortillas/taco shells or even over noodles.

YES this is really really easy pot roast recipe. However high in sodium. One packet of Good Seasons Dressing, One packet of Brown Gravy, One packet Ranch dressing powder Mix together in bowl and add enough water to make a mixture of a not too thick gravy. Place a pot roast in crockpot pour gravy mixture over and cook on low 6-8 hours so good

    Taco Soup

2 Cans Reduced Sodium Chicken Broth
    2 Cups Corn
    2 Cups Diced Tomatoes
    2 Cups Black Beans
2 lbs Cooked Meat (I like Turkey) Seasoned with 1 packet Taco Seasoning.

    Throw it in the Crockpot.

I usually make this when I have some leftovers I don't want to waste. That is the BASIC recipe. You can add whatever you like to season it to your taste. (Peppers, Onions, Cilantro)

This sounds delicious......will have to put on my meal plan for next week :)

These are more than 5 ingredients, but only like 10. Both of these recipes are delicious and you just throw in the ingredients (all cheap) and leave it so pretty easy.

I'm making chicken curry tonight and it's SO GOOD.

2-3 pounds chicken breast or thighs
    1 diced onion
16 oz salsa or picante sauce
    2 tbs curry
Cook on low 8 hours, add 1 cup sour cream 30 minutes before it's done.

    That sounds really good :)))))

    Easiest roast

A roast (big mountain-like piece of beef, I don't even remember what it's called...chuck roast?)
Quartered large yellow or white onion (or chop to whatever size you like )
2-3 jalapeños (depending on spice level preference)
Enough water to cover the roast
Lots o seasoned salt (or seasonings of your preference). But I cannot stress the "lots" part enough. You really need it salty because of the water.

Rub seasoned salt on the meat (I like to smack it in with a knife). Put the onions on the bottom. Put the roast on top of the onions. Pour water till the roast is almost submerged. Add jalapeños and more seasoned salt to taste. Cook on low for 10hrs or high for maybe 6

    Done.

Pork butt, can of enchilada sauce (red or green, but I prefer green). I use it for tacos/burritos/rice bowls!
