    @kareF :):pB)o:)<3

@ddmom0811 Freezing Rain on Dec 1 so my Run every Day Streak ( 2km Min ) was broken before it even got a chance to start.
@Pandora_and_her_box Boring treadmill/dreadmill is better than Okm. Freezing rain kept me Sofa Surfing on Tue. Treadmill better than an injury.

I'm late to the party as I couldn't find the thread! I'm fairly new to running - started at the end of April with a C25K programme. Have now run 3 5K races and I'm going to sign up for the Lincoln (UK) 10K in April. Am currently eyeing a 10K at the end of January, however. We shall see!

I'm beset by a niggly achilles, so want to keep the ramp up slow. So, I'm aiming for 40 miles this month. That's three '5K' training runs a week, or one 5K and one 10K (plus roundings). I work all day and am waiting on gym membership to get me started further. Have also realised I'm not a great fan of night-running (so far), but will do it if I have to. For instance, went out last night and did a full 5K!

I use the Zombies Run! app to keep myself interested during my runs - is anyone else using the app?

    03/12 - 4 miles

    Upcoming Races:
    30/01 Richmond 5K / 10K (not decided which, yet)
    17/04 Lincoln 10K

12/1 - 4 miles on indoor track + 4.5 miles on stationary bike
12/2 - Took my rest day early. Weather is supposed to be way better this weekend, so planning to run long(er) than usual both days.
12/3 - 5.09 miles on treadmill (Trek class)

@kareF - Still sending up prayers! Yay for no phone call!!
@dennie24 - Congrats on the time!
@CrimsonWhite and @Pandora_and_her_box - Treadmill running...my philosophy is "Embrace the suck". It is a necessary evil.

12/1 - 1.6 miles - 3K fun run with my friend John, who just lost almost 100 lbs :sunglasses: Oh yeah I realize 1.6 isn't a 3K but that's what they called it even though my watch said 1.6
    12/2 - life day
    12/3 - 5 miles

    6.6 out 120 miles

Alright, I'm joining in. Just finished my first (two) half marathons in November, and am on week 3 of training for my first full marathon on March 20th (I'll be doing the A2A Marathon in Ardmore, OK, if anyone cares). According to my plan, I am supposed to run 96 miles this month, so that will be my goal.

    Currently: 3/96 completed

Hey! Welcome! I live in Ardmore. I've opted to do the Rock and Roll half March 20 instead of the A2A. Really wanted to do both but committed to the RNR before I checked the a2a date. A2A was my first race.

If you live around here, maybe we could get a short training run in together, (I'm slow and a bit gimpy).
