The last five days have been pretty tough for me. I had no meals planned and so naturally fell off the wagon a bit, but I've meal planned for this week and even done some prep. It's a new day! So JFT:

    1. Log everything I eat
    2. Drink 2L of water
    3. Get in 30 min exercise today, even if it's just a brisk lunchtime walk

You felt like you had a bad week but you lost 2.9 pounds! That's great!

Maybe the heavens gave you bonus credit for adopting a dog.

I tried to get to the gym this morning, but I forgot my phone and eReader at home and my anxiety got the best of me (As it sometimes does. Thank the gods for my kind boyfriend who saw the panic attack coming and was fine with going back to bed and watching Netflix instead) So just for today:

Stay within 1200 calories (none of those cookies I've been eating...)
No diet soda (I think it's been giving me digestive issues?)
And hit the gym with the boyfriend after work like I promised

This is such a great thread  Hope I can join in with this.

So just for today, Monday Dec7:
    1) Log everything I eat.
    2) Meditate.
    3) Distract myself when I feel the need to emotionally eat.

With me, going to the gym is 100% about determination and 0% motivation. That place scares the ba-jee-bees out of me!

Try to think of so how proud of yourself you will feel when you are done.

I know you can do it just for today 'cause you're a super hero!

Really fell off track with this this weekend and it completely sent me off track. I had no focus or motivation and just did whatever. Back to it today!

    Just for today I will:
    1) track my calories
    2) drink my water
    3) control temptations

today Day 14 of my workout program plus some of the daily/weekly challenges, which I've been on for like 3 days. Day 14 features some kicks which scare me because I have no idea what I'm doing and am worried about damaging me or stuff around. but I've watched some other videos on how-to so I'm more confident about form. This won't be until after dinner due to other previously scheduling.

There's a lot of expressing gratitude on this thread so I'd like to express my gratitude for my husband of 27 (almost 28) years for bringing me a cup of hot tea in bed every morning. Even when I'm traveling, he makes it and send me picture of it (although I think he's taunting me that I can't have it in that instance).
awwww, that's SO sweet! and congrats on almost 28 years, wowsers!

    J4T Monday
    1. Go for a walk or jog in morning  Talked my kids into walking to the barbershop and sandwich shop with me. We live in a very rural place, so it is strange for us to do this (the nearest grocery store is 20 miles away). I told them it would be an adventure. They wimped out on the way home and called their Grandpa for a ride. They went 6 miles and I went the whole 7.5! Moms rule-kids drool!
    3. Housework & laundry
    4. Day 8 of Ab Challenge - rest day. Whew! That one was tough, but I did it!

    J4T Tuesday
    1. Take breakfast lunch and snack with me to work
    2. Weights at gym
    3. Be very careful to stick to calorie goals one meal at a time

    Have a great day everyone!

JFT. - to be good and log absolutely everything that goes into my mouth before it goes in. This will enable me to see the calories and decide if it is worth eating. Good Luck everyone.

I will express the reasons I'm becoming healthier. Already done for the morning, will get it done on the way home.
I will stay within my calorie goal.
I will walk for 30 minutes tonight. I will get off the couch.
I am expressing gratitude that the new puppy dog is starting to bond with my wife.

    Struggling with the evenings.

Expressed my mantra morning but didn't in the evening. Didn't work out, didn't get off the couch.
Decent calorie budget day. Despite not working out was within 10% of my goal. Making progress

    For today

I will express wellness mantra before getting ready for work. I will express my wellness mantra on the way home skipping a phone call if necessary.
I will stay within my calorie goal for the day and not overindulge
I will work out for 60 minutes today. Up in time to work out this morning, will get back to working out or at least walking around the block tonight.
I am expressing gratitude for my affinity for healthy/semi healthy foods. Love yogurt, oatmeal and green tea.

    Thank you.

Putting the week in perspective as I had gained back 10 of the 65 I lost. I'll take the 2.9# but am struggling to get back in the routine of working out consistently.

I need a dog in my life. Love my wife, family, friends, work but a dog completes the picture.
