    JFT Friday

    I will get 10,000 steps,
I will mentally prepare for my "dinner with the ladies" tonight,
I will leave the dinner early enough and "save" enough calories to come home and have wine with my husband.

I'm sick right now so doing anything will help

    Had soup
    Paint nails
    Shower
    Relax
Do some type of exercise if feeling up to it
Think of Christmas gifts to buy (haven't purchased anything yet)
Watch a Christmas movie. Keep procrastinating on it! Haven't watched any in Dec

Just for today, I won't eat my feelings when I get home. I'm tired and it's been a long week, usually a time that I loosen logging and eat more. But with the holidays coming I really need to stay on track if I want room for indulgence.

So just for today instead of a second serving of dinner or candy, I will take a long hot bath. Then an early bed time.

    1. Stay within calorie limit :) Well, 14 calories over but I'm pretty sure I shared at least 14 calories worth of food with the dogs.
    2. Walk the dogs :)
    3. Strength workout: Push Circuit 3 :) Rows with 25 pound dumbbells!
    4. Short cardio workout or >10k steps :/ Nope - just tired and didn't feel like pushing it after my other workout.

    JFT, 12/19

Well, I'm 113 days in and I'm tired out. I'm going to rest today and not worry about working out or eating within my calories. I'm not even sure I'll do any logging except quick add an estimate. We'll see how I feel. The thing is I just don't even feel like eating. I'm hungry but nothing sounds good. I'm just going to be nice to myself today, take the dogs for their morning walk and see how I feel after that.

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!

Love the winter picture Terri. I have my granchild this morning, she stayed with us last night. At mums 2.00 - 5.00 and I still have Christmas food shopping to buy - turkey, pork, christmas cake, mince pies etc.

    JFT

Try to get in 2 session 15mins on the cross trainer. Move more - will definitely happen running around after my granddaughter, doing jobs for my mum and my own housework. Love it.

    Best wishes today everyone.

J4T I'm going to focus on cleaning my house first, and not on going out for a morning walk. If I need to walk inside late at night and still have the energy, I'll do it then.

Well, I'm back! Have tried to stay on track and did well for all but 2 days. Have been staying within my calorie and nutrient goals and have been getting about 9000 steps per day, if not more. My husband has been away helping a sick friend and my Aunt and cousins were here for the weekend. It was my aunt's 98th bday last week(1 of the days) cousins here ( the other day) My husband got back yesterday ( our 30th anniversary) he got back too late to do anything- good for my food intake. He is having surgery tomorrow (angioplasty) hopefully that will work and he won't need the bypass, oh it is his birthday. We are staying home for Christmas(going to miss my daughter and grandkids) so I am going off my goals just for that day! I think I will need a break by then! Bad excuse? But JFT I will track everything, stay within goals and get my walking in, even though it's raining, will do that tomorrow and the day after Christmas and so on and so on! And I will be grateful! Happy Holidays!
