    I hope everyone is trying to relax and enjoy the pre-holiday activities. Today I am going to try to not let me healthy goals stress me out. I'll just do what I can do and let the rest go!

    1. Stop eating sugar. It's everywhere right now and so tempting. But I can enjoy the holidays so much more if I focus on the wonderful people around me and not the treats.
    2. Enjoy the interruptions in my routine instead of feeling bogged down with my to-do lists
    3. Eat real meals to stop snacking throughout the day

    My theory on excuses...the only one that's not acceptable is one that makes you quit, because life happens and sometimes you have to change your plans but you only fail when you quit.

    I'm praying your hubby recovers quickly and his procedure is extremly successful.

    Thanks for all of the encouragement! I don't plan on quitting! I plan on continuing this journey one day at a time!

    Went to a new orthopedist and found out I've been walking around for three months with an undiagnosed hip fracture. So...
    1) Made PT appt for Jan 7
    2) Made Pool appt for Jan 6
    3) Will not wreak vengence on the last orthopedist, but will definitely report it to my internist who referred me to the first one.

    2. Collect the turkey/gammon from the butcher.
    3. Cook turkey/ham and portion it out for tomorrow. Prep veg.
    4. Wrap presents.
    5. Make dinner for family. Barbecued ribs, salads etc.
