@WalkerPop I'm adulting to day!

@ScoobaChick We make those decisions for ourselves. You set your own limits. Personally, I don't regard drinks as a snack.

I do have an herb tea before going to bed but that isn't considered snacking right?

I definitely wouldn't count it. Tea is good!

Hi everyone, I'm Lisa. I've been logging on FitnessPal for one month and think my second month here is a great time to start reaching out for more motivation with a good challenge! Some serious arthritic knees and painful plantar fasciitis put limits on what I'm able to do physically, so eating right and at the right times is crucial in this struggle of mine to get my weight heded back the right direction. So, this challenge seems like a good fit for me!

My March goals: No eating after 8 p.m. 6 out of 7 days a week. If any alcohol on weeknight, limit is one and no later than 8 p.m. Weekends, no later than 9 p.m. and limit of 2.

    Me: 1

    Streak: 1

    Good luck everyone!

Welcome from one Lisa to another! ;)

Got to keep "Marching" on. Best wishes to all!

March goals: No snacking after 8 pm on weekdays; 9 pm on weekends. Drink water or hot tea after 8 pm. Keep my mind and hands busy after 8 pm...puzzles, reading, writing, drawing...NO "mindless" TV watching or else the ol' snack demon starts whispering in my ear..."It's only one little bite."

(Serious side note: Since I have stopped eating after 8 or 9 pm, I have noticed a huge improvement in late night acid reflux, indigestion and heartburn. My scales aren't moving as much as I hoped but by stopping my LNS I sleep much better. Needless to say, I am much more rested and feel sooooo much better overall!)

So glad to hear your heartburn is better! By the way, you have a very nice streak!

I succumbed to LNS last evening and ate two Belvita biscuits at 9pm, not a good start to a new month, I suppose it's better than snacking every night but I must do better.

Since I tend to not eat enough during the day, I think I need to change my plan. Instead of banning late night snacking, I will allow eating after dinner as long as it:
    1. Is weighed and logged, no mindless eating
    2. Doesn't push me over my calorie goal for the day

After dinner tonight, I still hadn't quite reached 1200 cals. We have a viennetta in the freezer. No regrets :p

Thank you for your answers. I will not consider my nightly herbal tea as snacking since it has 0 calories.

I sat down last night with my youngest to watch TV. It is incredible how many food commercials come on to tempt you. Actually got up and made myself a second herbal tea and I was sooooooooooo happy not to have any snacks in the house because it would have been a tough night.

Would love to join this March challenge. Late night snacking is a big issue with me, after I put my kids to bed, snacking is my way of relaxing while watching some Netflix. So today will be day one for me...

My goal: No snacks after dinner, only water

    My stats:
    5'3"
HW:195 (was not pregnant at the time)
    CW:184
    GW:120

    4 kids (including twin girls)
I have a cruise in September that I am trying to get confident for.

My goal is not to snack after 8 pm. By doing this I will see some result and feel better. Just need to stay motivated and stick to it. Fingers crossed

I want in! Started on Monday. My goal is no eating after 10pm. I made this decision because my weight has not moved despite my low calorie and regular work outs regularly. I don't have any other answer as to why besides late night snacking? I'll find out...

So many great streaks being logged, but @lamlam2013 is really leading out! Great work by all.

To everyone, remember that every streak starts with one-in-a-row! Get that one before you obsess over "from now on."

Thanks @WalkerPop! and @GrandmaJackie :) I came close to breaking my streak last night, but, thankfully, I stuck to my guns and told myself I had enough dinner. Sometimes it is a struggle, but I try.

PS: First time I tagged someone in a comment...it's pretty neat how it works!
