On workdays, I take the long way around to get to my destinations, even walking across the campus during my break to use the bathroom on the other side.
On non-workdays, I walk around my neighborhood and/or the track at the middle school near my house.0 -

To reach my steps, I do a brisk walk every 2 hours at work and walk the neighborhood when I get home. I actually left my tracker home today while at work, but I didn't let that stop me from recording the missed steps.....even though I probably really did 30K today.0 -

If I am at an appointment, I walk around to gain steps. Today I walked in the parking lot till my van oil change was finished. If it is my mother's appointment. I walk around or in place till she is ready. There are three neighborhoods around me, I do my long walks through them. At the grocery store, I have purposefully become inefficient and go down all the isles and back and forth for more steps. Once I get home with my groceries, I only take one bag in at a time to get more steps in. If I am doing laundry (putting it away) I put one piece at a time away. Rain days (heavy) I stay in and walk circles around the house and basement.0 -
I don't track "steps" yet but my miles come from power walk dvds (There's a bunch for under $10 on amazon) and walking around my city. I use google maps to plan a route (it tells me how many miles i go) and then I walk the mapped out route the next day. It keeps a little variety in my outdoor walks by not going the same route all the time.0

Any way I can. I park in the back of the parking lot so that I get extra steps everywhere I go. I never take the escalator or the elevator. If it is nice outside, I take my children for a walk. If the weather is bad, I walk on my treadmill. If I don't want to go to my basement, I do short sprints from my bedroom to the kitchen. I have a Fitbit pedometer so I am always involved in a challenge with other fitbit users, competition always motivates me.0 -
So far this week 16.1 miles.. I really got to step it up
I am really not happy with these numbers
