Ok @Katie_Y89 , here it is.
Start: Weight - 150.7 lb Waist - 36 in
End: Weight - 146.4 lb Waist - 33 in
I started my journey in Oct so my weight loss has slowed, so I am at a total of 20 lbs lost.
I have a calorie goal of 1340 - some days I eat my exercise calories, some days I don't. I took four break days because of a pulled muscle & scheduling. I did each level a total of 10 days at the end though.
**Disclaimer about my pic: I am having some anxiety about posting this. Its a big forum to show the world your gut. I am a little disappointed about my before, but that is why I started this journey in the first place. My after is still a bit of a ways from where I am going, but I am proud of the work so far. So critics be darned, this is what it is.**
You guys are all doing something good for yourselves, so keep it up!!!
@cdgross81 firstly: you look awesome!!!!! Don't let anyone tell you different!
Second: thank you for posting your results!!! They are great!!
Did you do any other workout along with 30 ds? Do you plan on doing it again or another Jillian Michaels dvd?

I've not heard of that but I definately like the sound of it! I'm starting 30 day shred tonight - I think I'm going to start off doing it once every two days as I'm really, really unfit then start doing it every day next week (hopefully!)
When I started doing the shred after my first child I was sooo unfit. I did it every day, just the 1st workout, and pushed through the soreness. Totally worth it! You can do it! The yoga inferno is so awesome it's not really cardio more like a spinoff of yoga and strength training. Highly recommend!0 -

Well thanks.
I did some cardio, but nothing regularly. My scheduled is very constrained for time
I actually did Level One this morning. So I am starting over for now. It was still far from being easy. I did add the weights in on some cardio moves for extra resistance but I have a long way to go with a lot of the strength training. I expected it to be far easier than it actually was.
So I guess I am officially joining the group - Level 1 Day 1!1 -
Anyone else planning on re-starting 30 Ds when finished? Haha we have a while to go but I've been tossing the idea around in my mind. That or ripped in 300

RI30 is just so much harder for me. I think I might redo 30DS next month and then move on to RI30. But then again, depends on my fitness level once I'm done with this month.0 -
I have heard RI30 is difficult. Just from doing the first day today, it is totally different doing the second time. And I am hoping that day 4, I don't get the leg pain I got on the first go around.0

You look amazing - these pictures have given me the kick up the bum I need to get started tonight! I am actually under my calorie goal today (usually I go just over it but I don't beat myself up about it, as long as I reduce it each day) and I can't wait to do the exercise. I'll let you know how I get on - I think I'm going to struggle haha0 -
RI30 is HARD! I made it through week one and really enjoyed it! Love how she has 3 strength moves insead of 2 in the strength circuit. Made it to week 2 and couldn't get through it. Not even doing the easier moves/level. Plus Jillian is a meanie in that dvd. With not being able to do level 2 and her not-so-motivational attitude I turned it off.
Would like to try is again, but maybe after another 30 ds round lol0 -
Starting today! DVD just arrived. My starting measurements...150.4 lbs, 36 bust, 31 waist, 39 hips. Day 1 30-day shred. Finished workout one!!!0
-
A few schedule issues this week-end but I am back at it tonight! Level 1, day 3 fini!0
-
I would love to join this group and start in the AM. It certainly helps when someone else understands how tough the workout is.0
-
Level 1 day 3. Things are so sore! The jumping jacks were killing the muscle that goes to the armpit across my chest (peck muscle?) I am so glad it's only 20 minutes because it's so painful! lol0
-
Level 1 day 4 complete. I'm not doing the Jillian videos exclusively because I like to mix it up. Did a nice 5 mile hike this weekend and a killer Zumba class. Took Monday off as a rest day and missed out on Tuesday work out due to just being too tired.
I'll most likely stick to Level 1 through the next week. At the beginning of tonights video I was thinking of jumping to Level 2 on Monday, but by the end of the video I was out of breath and not keeping up. Want to make sure I can successfully complete Level 1 before moving on.
Also as another poster noted some of the cardio moves are more jarring than others. If I don't like the move she's doing or it's uncomfortable for me I'll switch it up to something I like. I'll do butt kicks instead of jumping jacks.0 -
taking today off - going dancing tonight!
To the person who was having leg pain, listen to your body! Definitely substitute the high impact stuff with so other cardio that doesn't hurt. I don't do the butt kicks because they hurt my knees, but I do something else instead.
I was wondering about the yoga video - will try it! I like that it is 30 minutes - I get bored after that. Even with 30DS I turn the volume way down, just check the screen to keep up with the changes, and listen to podcasts instead.0 -
Level 1 Day 7 done!!
I was wondering about her yoga too. Plan on getting her 6 week 6 pack DVD as well0 -

Day 9 done!0

Level 1, day 7 done! I'm over those damn jumping Jacks already, that's for sure lol0
-
Level 1 day 9 complete today and I've took my measurements too. So far I've lost half an inch from my waist and 3/4 of an inch from my widest part! Oh and a quarter inch from each arm! Everything else has stayed the same but I'm pleased so far0

That is great for being 9 days in!!! Imagine what 30 days will be!!

Level 1 Day 9 done!!!
I will have to check my measurements this weekend. I know the scale hasn't changed but I feel much better overall. Did not get too out of breath at dance class last night, which was a change!0 -
I'm doing this now too - did day 3 today. I like the cardio stuff but hate the push-ups, even the modified version. Also don't like the bicycle crunch things, but mainly because I'm not really sure how to do them!
Feeling great doing it though, looking forward to day 4!0 -
Am I too late to join? I'm on level 1 day 5 (again). I did this DVD but stopped after 20 days. I did lose 17lbs though. Having said that I've put 14 back on (must say no to those creamy cocktails in the summer evenings)! Hoping being part of a group will motivate me to continue for the whole 30 days.0
