I did a 5k yesterday and got my best time ever. Then I ran another one today and beat yesterday's time.
I'm trying to do 12 in one year. I have to do 2 more by the end of May to keep my commitment.23 -
another friend told me today that I looked good in regards to my losing weight and working out. so nice to hear7

A while back, at an assembly at my daughter's school, a woman stood up after about 30 minutes and offered me her seat on the end of a bench. She was a thin woman, with a tiny little rear end. I politely declined, but she insisted, and her (also thin) friend was still on the bench, looking up at me like I was crazy and rude for declining. But I didn't think my butt would fit in the tiny spot she had just vacated!! But I swallowed my pride and decided to let a butt cheek hang off the bench to be polite. But then an amazing thing happened. My butt fit. It fit in the tiny spot her butt had just left! My WHOLE butt! As I realized what was happening, I actually started to giggle to myself with glee. It was a pretty awesomely proud moment.44

Just saw my doctor for blood test results (a medical problem cropped up that made tests essential) - she was really pleased and described them all as "excellent". I'm relieved as I hate having blood taken and worry constantly until I know that the results are good.
I'm now buzzing about having great results much to my teenager's bemusement!12 -
I fit into a dress in my cupboard now just in time for a wedding on Saturday. So no need to buy a new one.11

I didn't pig out this weekend despite feeling annoyed/disappointed/angry with myself for not passing my driving test. I still haven't figured out if I'm going to pursue it anymore and continue being a burden on my husband and those around me or test his patience some more with driving practice. Those low self-esteem demons are mean and very loud and make it very hard for the confident and capable ones to come out victorious13

People fail driving tests all the time. In fact, I just googled, and in my area the failure rate is above 50% for first timers. I told both my daughters to consider the first test as just a practice test.
But congrats on not turning to food for comfort. That's huge.

actually it was my second time. it's extra frustrating because I'm 36 and can't do what most 16 years old are capable. I seem to be missing some fundamental capability that I just can't seem to overcome.1 -

My husband is 36 as well, and JUST got his license by the skin of his teeth. He's still uber-anxious behind the wheel. Don't be to hard on yourself; you'll get it! Is there a local driving school nearby? Most of them let you take a few lessons without having to go through the whole course; the'll charge by the hour instead. Helped hubby out a lot!5 -
I was wearing a pair of Compression workout capris around the house. I knew they were getting a bit loose, no longer a compression fit, but still gym wearable. I slipped my phone into the waist band to free up my hands and it slipped straight down my leg and out the bottom! Thankfully, it caught on my foot and did not fall directly onto the tile floor.
Guess it's time to size down!

can you afford a professional lesson or 2. Perhaps the problem is not you but lack of clear teachig. It's a skill and takes good teaching and good practice to learn.3

My favorite jeans are a boyfriend cut from The Limited. I tried on a pair this weekend and a 12 fit with ease...in all actuality they were too big! I could literally fit both hands down my pants. The pants have a little stretch to them, so I know wearing them throughout the day they will just get bigger. So excited that I actually need at least a 10! Unfortunately the next size down in the store was a 4, so I wasn't able to try another pair on or purchase any.
My mini goal was to get to a 10 by my vacation later on this month, and looks like I'm there in at least one brand!14 -
1. Signed up for a 12 week triathlon training program a week ago.
2. Decided that since I've been maintaining/very slow progress since January that I wouldn't track my food or weight until after the program. Just focus on enjoying the ride and feeling good.
3. Had to go to the doc for something completely unrelated and she said that she hoped I wasn't weighing myself regularly because that's really not where my focus should be. Bingo! High five doc!8 -
I've lost almost 20lbs. The other day I was sitting and noticed I had crossed my legs! I hadn't been able to do that and didn't even think about it when it happened!11

I have sustained a 50 lb loss since Aug 2015. But the NSV was my brother who is >300lbs at dinner said he was doing portion control and decreasing carbs. I don't preach, just try to lead by example; and it's working!16

I'm going to a conference that I went to last year and I didn't have to get new clothes because I'm the same size.15

I can see the sides of my stomach getting smaller! I can start to see what the sides of my stomach will look like now just waiting for my "baby pooch" to go away! And, I think my legs are looking smaller but I'm not sure if it's just wishful thinking or not I'll check measurements later this month!7

My wedding ring is slipping OFF of my finger!!! It keeps turning around and it's slowly inching up to my knuckle. In a way, that's great but in a way, not so much. I'm scared of losing it!
They sell clear sizers that fit onto the back so that you don't loose them until you're ready to get them sized!3 -
I ran a full 10k in 60 mins of non-stop running for the first time ever in the weekend. I also went shopping for summer tops (inspired by the gorgeous weather). They are SLEEVELESS for the first time in years. No hiding my arms in jumpers this summer!19

NSV#1: Filled 3 large garbage bags of clothes that I can no longer wear (too big). Dropped them off at the donation drop box down the road from my house.
NSV#2: Transitioned from obese to overweight on the BMI scale.
NSV#3: On Friday, I repeated a 10km hike that I did last fall, and shaved 11 minutes off my time.23
