Welcome!1 -
So luckily I didn't go too far up on the scale this week like I thought I would. Definitely motivated to do better this week though! And for an update: Right now I have 5 out of my 24 hours done for the 24 hour challenge that I'm in...which is good, but I'm going to have to step up my game this week and really get some more exercise in for the challenge.2
-
Congrats to everybody losing or maintaining this past week!
Has anyone had any aha! moments recently? Anything that surprised you or showed you progress?
I had one yesterday when I took an updated progress picture. Even though I've been able to see little changes, like in my face or thighs...I hadn't really noticed any loss in my waist or hips.....until I took an updated progress picture. There's a noticeable difference in my waist and hips that I had not seen before!
Here's to this next week!3 -

I didn't get to the gym as much as I would have liked this week since we had company all weekend 9since Thursday) but I did have a small loss! Ate terrible all weekend too. This week is all about getting back on track and getting my workouts in. I did have a small AHA moment, I bought a dress in a large a few months ago hoping that I would lose enough before my vacation to wear it. I tried it on this weekend and YAY!! it actually looks good on me now. I haven't lost a lot of lbs but I am losing inches. Great work everyone.4 -

I attribute the lost pounds due to lots of water this past week. I have been very lazy in logging my food intake and even lazier with actually doing exercise. I have found that getting back to my crafting has helped get my mind off of snacking. Wishing everyone a wonderful week.2 -

Weekend get together...help! We are going to a BBQ and have to bring a dish to pass, any ideas? Something that I know is decent to help me stay on track, God knows I will be making up for it with a few beers1

Cauliflower fauxtatoes!
Steam a head of cauliflower, mix it in a food processor until smooth and add a small amount of butter...they won't know the difference.2 -

Down 3 lbs but I am not celebrating yet - I can't tell you how many times I have lost this same three lbs, only to come out the other side of the weekend with my weight up again! Urgh!!! I need to find strategies (motivation?) to not let it "slip" friday night-sunday night! Tips?1 -
Also posted in the spreadsheet - here's my Friday weigh in and my base measurements. Glad to see the tape measure continuing to drop as well as the scale!

Same song, second verse. :-( Really getting so tired of this dance. I lowered my calorie limit & hopefully I can get over this bump in the road.2 -
Update:
*11/24 hours done for the June exercise challenge that I'm in
(Having a rough time completing this... it's been verrrry hot outside
all day long lately and I do not have a gym membership, so I'm limited
to what I can do at home --which is definitely getting old--
but I'm going to try very hard to finish this challenge)
*I've also been working on eating a lot more consciously- aka: thinking before
I start eating, "Is this a healthy decision?" and "Am I actually hungry or am I bored?"
Things like that, just generally being aware of what I'm doing. It helps a lot because
what got me here in the first place was the binge-eating and the thing about
that is it's such a compulsive thing to do- like switching the "on" button and going into
autopilot. Definitely not healthy, it's good to be present when you're
eating and to enjoy the experience. So, yes- that is one of my goals right now:
to be aware of what I eat and why I want to eat it.
*I changed my goal weight on the spreadsheet (The rate of my weight loss
hasn't been going as I planned it would- so I'm adjusting it to a new weight)
And great job to everyone's progress!!2 -
