I attribute the lost pounds due to lots of water this past week. I have been very lazy in logging my food intake and even lazier with actually doing exercise. I have found that getting back to my crafting has helped get my mind off of snacking. Wishing everyone a wonderful week.

Weekend get together...help! We are going to a BBQ and have to bring a dish to pass, any ideas? Something that I know is decent to help me stay on track, God knows I will be making up for it with a few beers

    Cauliflower fauxtatoes!

Steam a head of cauliflower, mix it in a food processor until smooth and add a small amount of butter...they won't know the difference.

Down 3 lbs but I am not celebrating yet - I can't tell you how many times I have lost this same three lbs, only to come out the other side of the weekend with my weight up again! Urgh!!! I need to find strategies (motivation?) to not let it "slip" friday night-sunday night! Tips?

Also posted in the spreadsheet - here's my Friday weigh in and my base measurements. Glad to see the tape measure continuing to drop as well as the scale!

I always bring a veggie tray! Then I know I have a good food choice!

Same song, second verse. :-( Really getting so tired of this dance. I lowered my calorie limit & hopefully I can get over this bump in the road.

    Update:

*11/24 hours done for the June exercise challenge that I'm in
(Having a rough time completing this... it's been verrrry hot outside
all day long lately and I do not have a gym membership, so I'm limited
to what I can do at home --which is definitely getting old--
but I'm going to try very hard to finish this challenge)

*I've also been working on eating a lot more consciously- aka: thinking before
I start eating, "Is this a healthy decision?" and "Am I actually hungry or am I bored?"
Things like that, just generally being aware of what I'm doing. It helps a lot because
what got me here in the first place was the binge-eating and the thing about
that is it's such a compulsive thing to do- like switching the "on" button and going into
autopilot. Definitely not healthy, it's good to be present when you're
eating and to enjoy the experience. So, yes- that is one of my goals right now:
to be aware of what I eat and why I want to eat it.

*I changed my goal weight on the spreadsheet (The rate of my weight loss
hasn't been going as I planned it would- so I'm adjusting it to a new weight)

And great job to everyone's progress!!

Slowly getting there. Was hoping to see a bit more movement on the scale this week, but I am happy it is at least moving in the right direction. Sad to see the girls are disappearing...but they always do.
