ok guys. Same as past few months. You may select your own mode of exercise as long as it produces steps/miles..... You also decide your own goal on how many miles, steps etc...

I was over 6.5 Walking Miles in June. Due too camping in one of our local State parks and walking a lot. Camping produces less chores than at home...lol....

My personal goal for July will be 120 WALKING MILES...

Hope too see everyone there. I am blessed <3 you guys join me and I dont have too walk and log progress alone...THANKS TOO EACH OF YOU... :)

Count me in! Not sure of a goal as far as how many miles - just want to get something in everyday!

I really need to start walking. Can we do time, instead of distance? I have various health issues... I can start with 15 minutes, and try to up from there. I don't really have a way to measure distance. ... maybe use Google Earth ruler feature? LOL

I am in. I am going to aim for 300000 steps!

@Vivy913 if you have a smart phone there is a free app called pedometer. It is a pretty cool step counter. Only problem, have to take the phone with you wherever you go. I am using it until I can get a fitbit/varmin.

Ok - here it goes. My record for July so far...

I July: walking, to and from train stations mainly
    2 July: cycling

This was to my daughter's music lesson. It is good to turn a chore journey into family exercise - and it is quite a pleasant ride (thru 3 small parks). Just have to get out of the house on time!

350 cals burned or more: 1 out of 2 (26 cumulative total towards my 100 target).
    Atleast over 30 mins: 1
    Lazy/rest days: 0

Welcome to the new faces. O.26 miles or the full marathon - it all counts on this challenge. (2 years ago I could not walk 10 mins straight either, I'd been so ill....) I find setting realistic goals and keeping a record of how I am doing still really motivates me, and I hope it helps you all too!

<3 WELCOME NEWBIES! It really doesn't matter WHAT you do as long as you are faithful. If you dont want too count miles or steps then count minutes. IT IS IMPORTANT TOO MOVE!!!!!!!!!!!! I have learned that during my 7 years of working at it..... I wish I had started years ago before that but it is what it is.....

SO HAPPY too see our 'oldies' back.... <3

We are doing home repairs. I've been painting. I may not be here every day but I WILL CHECK IN when I can and I will still be dong my morning walk. Owning a home is a lot of work. This was our year for repairs and painting...

EVERYONE HANG IN THERE...HOPE YOU DO GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    July 1st.............4.5 Walking Miles
    July 2nd............4.0 Walking Miles

Total thus far 8.50 Walking Miles....

Hi My name is Dawn! I would like to join the challenge. I have been using my MFP on and off for the last few years... really need some motivated friends to keep me going. I only have like 4 friends (co-workers etc) that are on MFP.... It's nice to see motivated people in your news feed to relate to, keep motivation going, stay accountable... so thank you for any friend requests... right now i am using my bowflex max trainer (I love it) and me treadmill.
My goal is to get on my bowflex 5 days a week as well as get 10,000 steps in each day.

I've been a bit quiet in the June challenge, but will come back fighting. I have a trail race in the middle of the month so am gearing up for that. My walking miles challenge is 80 miles, and I need to get back on the bike so another 40 for that.

Spent the weekend camping in darkest Somerset with a load of dancing friends. Only one person fell in the river (trying to catch a frisbee), two chairs were broken, we didn't set fire to the woods, and rescued two baby bats which are now in the care of a local batwoman. Much beer, cider and wine was drunk, and I am now planning on eating nothing but vegetables for the rest of the week to make up for the BBQ.

12 miles walked/ran this month so far.
