I cant do a full push up, Im fat and weak hahahaha
I can do them on my knees....does this count? if so im in and will start NOW!
I have no idea how many I can do in one go (id guess at around 20) but can fit in several lots a day
so can I join even though I do girl push ups ?1 -

Yay, more ladies! . I sure hope you join! I used to do modified/knee push-ups too but if you want to try off yours knees, try this: On the way up, squeeze your abs and booty and raise your chest first and then your waist/legs together. I had a coach tell me I'd get stronger sooner than staying on my knees. So I did one rep on my knees and one rep the "snake-up" way. You can also do an incline push-up by putting your hands on a bench or even against the wall until you build strength. Hope this helps.0 -
Yes, I say join, too @mbaby86! We all have to start somewhere. I started with the modified push-ups then moved on to the regular ones. It takes a bit, but you can definitely do it! I did 2 sets of 10 last night. Nothing compared to the others on this thread, but that's okay because I'm still increasing every week.3

8/1: 66 (1 x 10, 2 x 5 *break* 1 set each of 13, 12, 11, 10 reps)
8/2: 79 (1 x 14, 1 x 3 1 x 4 *break* 1 set each of 16, 15, 14, 13 reps...I get the numbers for that set by the time it is or military time if its after 12pm)

I got my 100 in today! Let's see how I hold up. I expect it to get harder before it gets easier. I'm weight training too.2

ok, so being out the house most of the day with 3 of my 5 children in toe and having a teething 8month old on me all day I only managed to get 20 push ups in today, which frankly is *kitten* even for me lol
tomorrow Iv not got to go out until around 4pm so Im hoping to get as many in during the day as I can to make up for my poor efforts today, although I think id have had some pretty funny looks if I suddenly dropped and did 20 in tesco, the libary or the optians1 -
I just saw this today, but I started doing push ups yesterday. I did 115 yesterday and 120 today. Yesterday I also did squats and today sit ups. I'm so stoked for this challenge!2

Just finished my final 50 for today. That makes 500 for the week w/2000 to go.
I'm actually doing a personal Pushup/Squat challenge and also a 100k meter Concept 2 Rowing challenge. So, I also completed 500 squats and 10k meters rowing this week as well.
This is in addition to my 2-3 hour weight lifting workout 2x's a week and a 1-2 hr CrossFit routine 1x a week.
Gotta say that I'm feeling a little burnt out already but will try to finish the challenge.1 -
