I am so glad that I am done with Level 1. That is an accomplishment on its own. Moving on to Level 2 tomorrow. This thread is awesome. Thanks to everyone for helping me stay motivated.0 -

Just got back on the computer finally, see I've been added to the list!! I am now DONE L2 D11 did it at 11 tonight, was a long day, but I went out for supper so I was determined, and also walked on the treadmill for half an hour.
Level 2 kicked my butt, especially after the long walk. So much plank position...my abs are going to HURT. I just keep reminding myself that I felt like this, probably worse, at the start of level 1 and it got easier
Tjradd- to answer your question before, my knee felt good after working it! I did lazy knee circle and splits position (cool down) and tried swimming today, but the swimming hurt. Also got the okay from my doctor to exercise normally, it's probably just sprained. And the scale stayed the same today - been pretty consistent at 141.2 (my weigh-in 2 weeks ago was 140.8 :frown: )0 -

Hi all,
can i jump in on this one?
did L1D6 yesterday, doing D7 tonight. Really feeling it now, and starting to notice a change and definition appearing! Have noticed a 3.5lb weight gain with it though, is this normal? Anyone else gained with it?0 -

Done L2D1 yesterday, gosh it was hard, the worst part was that my palms hurt so much, I cheated a lot with push ups on level 1, so all the exercises in plank position were bit hard on my arms. My muscles feel tired today, but not really painful. I only follow Anita on level 2, what Natalie do it's just pure madness buahahaha, I think you have to be much stronger than I am to do all those jumps in plank position....ehh maybe one day
I was going to weigh myself tomorrow, but I think I will wait till the end, coz probably I have gained a little and I will get so discouraged.
I'm impressed how much muscles I suddenly got, in my biceps and in my thighs especially
Exercises in level 2 are much more interesting, especially that on last days of level 1 you know all those moves by heart and you get a bit bored hehe. The times also passes much quicker than in level one0 -

finshed my 10th day on level 1 last nite. off work today so i'm going to hit level 2 shortly. not sure what to expect - but i'm just gonna jump in at the deep end and see what jillian throws at me. after 10 days in a row of level 1 i'm hoping i'll be able to cope ok but have heard some scary things about level 2. lol.0 -

Ok just finished L1 D6 after 6 days off. I have been crazy busy working at my church and haven't been able to work out. Today while doing all the jumping exercises it really hurt my ankles. Not sure why?! Sucks. It might be my new shoes but that would be a total bummer if I hab to buy more new shoes. Anyway I hate being so far behind but I am determined to complete this!0

GRR, scale's up 1.5 lbs this morning!! I'm sad, even though I know it's no big deal. I was totally hoping for a little lost! I just started using 5 lb weights yesterday L1D6, and it was definitely more challenging! YAY for 30ds!0

I completed Leve 1 day 6 last night. I really pushed myself and man am I feeling it today. Legs and arms hurting again!
Is anyone going to stick with the levels longer than 10 days?????????0 -
I'd say if you're still feeling challenged by the level by the 10th day then stay at that level until you feel like you need more challenge. I was doing level 1 with 1 lb weights and feeling no challenge so I swiched to 5 lb and man, what a difference!!! I may stick with level 1 for a couple extra days until I get used to doing the side lunges with 5 lbs (DIE DIE DIE!!)0

sb-no worries about the gain...pretty much all of us have seen a gain on weeks 1 and 2, but i have heard that this is normal (due to water retention in the muscles) and that the scale will be more agreeable by weeks 3 and 4!
Martza-I think tht it is a great idea to not weigh-in, especially if you know that a gain may discourage you!! keep on movin girl!
tbhoover-glad to see that you are back on track!! keep on going and oyu will finish with us for sure!

ladybg-I think most of us are doing 10 days at each level...but if you feel like level 1 is still really hard and still pushing you to your max...then i would take a few extra days to stick with it! go at your own pace...just go!

I did Level 1 Day 9 today before work. Was finished before 6am! Now that alone is amazing for me I plan on doing all 30 days of Level 1 because I don't feel I have mastered everything yet. For my own peace of mind I want to be able to do everything using 5 lb. weights before going to the next level. Just a different path...0
