It was great. I liked the hour off in the middle of the ride best!
@Beeps2011 You picked a great time to be in the Pacific NW. Weather is awesome. Great photos of Mt. Hood.1 -

P90X: Plyometric Done!
last night went for 90 minutes walk with my son, goodness, why do I need to talk about AI, or all these games on my walks? lol1 -
Kayaked around Ross Island, yesterday. Today we leave Portland and drive straight to the ocean....we have had over 30C heat for a week, now, and are ready to return to 21-23C temps at the coast!

Had a nice hour long paddle and got in 2.65 miles. Finally saw my favorite water creatures that I've not seen in months since a Tropical Storm blew through the area - a pod of six dolphins that decided to swim with me for part of my paddle. It is always awesome to get some time on the water...but even better when I get to see my wave riding buddies. (Still need to get a go pro or some other waterproof camera to share my adventures.)2

Rode my bike for 1.5 hr today!
The weather is not that great and typhoon signal no.1 is in effect but still quite calm where I live, just a bit windy and some intermittent showers. So had a super quick dash to burn some cals, still had to clean my bike though...3 -

Hi all, wedding week from hell is now over. Thank goodness! I worked my *kitten* off. Never, never, never again! So not worth it. Even if I charged 5x more, I don't think I would do it again. At the end of the day, it is our home. Doing the B&B thing is enough, thank you very much.
So, finally got some good runs in after all that. 10k Monday, it the heat and 12k last evening, in nice comfortable temps.
Diet is still going well. Am feeling so much better. Have not seen the scale move much despite waking up hungry often.3 -
Almost forgot, 30 min on treadmill this morning.4

Great job everyone! Today is my rest day but I want to hit the gym after reading everyone's update2

Taking a 1 week break from the weights to nurse a couple nagging injuries. Alternating between enjoying the break and wishing I was lifting.2

No workouts yet this week. My wife birthday today and I'm already more than halfway through my daily cals (after only breakfast!). I suspect this will be a heavy day. Hopefully I can get off my butt tomorrow morning and active again.1

Easy 20 min treadmill jog in the hotel this morning didn't do much to ease the mix of apprehension and anticipation that is typical during a pre race taper week. Getting just a LITTLE bit antsy.........4

AOS Newport done (well mostly done. I did about half of the side snatch and overhead lunges and skipped the pushup and divebombers as I am supposed to do chest tomorrow). BTW I hate SOTS presses, I am incompetent at them.1

My goal is total wellness. I jumped off my fatloss journey for a time due to work and life. Trying to gain discipline and get back on track...
Thanks4 -
Oh my it's been so long since I posted here!!!! Busy thread though!!! Still going strong with my weight lifting program I started about 2 months ago. I also started the ketogenic diet on the first of the month. I kinda like it. Rock on!!!!3

The weather finally OK enough to ride my bike! Though I still got caught in the showers and have to wash my bike, again. Yikes!3

Been a crazy bad week for me on the personal side of things. Haven't made it to the gym though I have been knocking out some push ups at work so I'm at least doing something. Thankfully most of the people I work with are much more into fitness than I am, so they don't think it's weird.
Today is my weekly check-in. I've started weighing daily and averaging that for my weekly check-in to even out those darned daily fluctuations. Today my check-in weight is 168.6. That's 20 lbs lost total, and just over halfway to my GW! Even better, even though I know it's a BS measure but the medical community uses it, my BMI is just under the "overweight" cut-off. 18 pounds to go, but today's result are really motivating!6 -
Yesterday heavy leg day finished with a few rounds of jump rope. LOL legs felt like mush at the end.
This morning shoulder and traps finished with sled work.
Ready for the weekend! It is going to be really hot but still hoping to get in at least 10 miles in.5
