managed day 6 level 2 yesterday! going to do day 7 today! 3 more days and then level 3! eek! the end is in sight! then for round 2! lol0

just finished day 11 - first day of level 2. yikes! lol. that was tough going but i got through it with a few of the modified moves and had to take a couple of mini breathers near the end. hoping like level 1 it gets easier as the days go by. certainly feels like i've down a super workout.
getting shredded!!

well done! it will get easier! i find level 2 challenging compared to the other 2 levels.0 -
GRR, scale's up 1.5 lbs this morning!! I'm sad, even though I know it's no big deal. I was totally hoping for a little lost! I just started using 5 lb weights yesterday L1D6, and it was definitely more challenging! YAY for 30ds!0

I completed Leve 1 day 6 last night. I really pushed myself and man am I feeling it today. Legs and arms hurting again!
Is anyone going to stick with the levels longer than 10 days?????????0 -
I'd say if you're still feeling challenged by the level by the 10th day then stay at that level until you feel like you need more challenge. I was doing level 1 with 1 lb weights and feeling no challenge so I swiched to 5 lb and man, what a difference!!! I may stick with level 1 for a couple extra days until I get used to doing the side lunges with 5 lbs (DIE DIE DIE!!)0

sb-no worries about the gain...pretty much all of us have seen a gain on weeks 1 and 2, but i have heard that this is normal (due to water retention in the muscles) and that the scale will be more agreeable by weeks 3 and 4!
Martza-I think tht it is a great idea to not weigh-in, especially if you know that a gain may discourage you!! keep on movin girl!
tbhoover-glad to see that you are back on track!! keep on going and oyu will finish with us for sure!

LotsO-no worries about the gain!! the scale will start dropping soon I am sure!
ladybg-I think most of us are doing 10 days at each level...but if you feel like level 1 is still really hard and still pushing you to your max...then i would take a few extra days to stick with it! go at your own pace...just go!
AFM-L1D9 done today!!! only 1 day left until I get to move to level 2...I'm a lil nervous, I must admit!0 -
I did Level 1 Day 9 today before work. Was finished before 6am! Now that alone is amazing for me I plan on doing all 30 days of Level 1 because I don't feel I have mastered everything yet. For my own peace of mind I want to be able to do everything using 5 lb. weights before going to the next level. Just a different path...0

Day 7 complete! My knees are starting to feel odd outside of working out. Kinda old feeling, rickety or something. I remember this happening to me the last time I did shred, too. I can tell myself to take it easy on the lunges and not go as deep... but I don't listen to myself! I gotta push it. They aren't hurting, yet. I hope they don't! Stick with me, knees, we are almost halfway done!UPDATING THE LIST!!

Level 2 day 7 done! Nearly time for level 3! Does anyone else get distracted by natalie doing the military press and leg extension? She loses her balance and I have to look away from the screen as it makes me wobbly too lol. Loving level 2,now able to keep up with natalie! Yay. :-)

hi all.
i just finished l1d3 today.
l1d1 wasn't as bad as i thought, l1d2 my calves hurt! and now i know i can't run after the shred, i've got to go running before or i've got no chance!
and my calves still hurt. and those side lunges are HARD! it's not the lunges, it's the arm raises.
and i thought i was already pretty fit and that it should be a breeze!0 -
I would so like to join! On a whim today, after a Walk away the pounds video from OnDemand, I thought I would see what the 30 day shred was about... Even on tile floor, I got it done. I have the full DVD, better hand weights ( I was using my ankle/wrist ones) and an awesome mat to kick some butt tomorrow!

I had tried this about 20 lbs heavier and yeah, turned it off! YAY!0 -

I did L1 D1 yesterday, went pretty hard, and am finding it hard to walk/squat today.. feels soooooo good!!!

Level 2 day 12 done! Yay!! Feeling pretty good, but I'm finding a lot of these exercises super hard! (easier than yesterday though!).
I don't want to be discouraging in any way, but is anyone else quite far in and still seeing zero results? I mean, I feel the results endurance-wise, but I can't see them on my body...my arms/legs/abs don't seem to have changed (although I haven't measured). I know 12 days is still early to be building muscle but I hear of so many people seeing changes around 5 days, and I just want to be sure I'm not doing something wrong... either way, I know it's good for me and will be worth it. Thanks for any advice0 -
