Got a couple of runs in this weekend. 7.5 miles on Saturday and 15 miles on Sunday. Should be tapering, but am still trying to get my long runs in. One more to go.....if I survive!3 -
Recovery week and trying to take it as such.
P90X3 Yoga done this morning, not planning to do much more, other than my afternoon walk.

@djproulx nice work on the ironman. I ran a marathon once (when much younger) and was so ruined I didn't run again for 3 years. I can't imagine doing it after a 180km bike and a 3.8km swim. That is amazing.
@3furballs Being able to do a pistol is on my goals list. I have the getting down part down....its just the getting back up. I mentioned it to my oldest daugher (12) a month or so ago that this was one of my goals and she promptly cranked a few out on each leg. I had to send her to bed without supper .

Day 2 of recovery,
Strength: P90X: core Synergistic ok, I really do not feel like this workout should be placed in recovery week! it was tougher than a normal day workout! all that variety of push ups are really insane! but anyway it's done!
Cardio: evening walk with my young man and puppy3 -

I've been a bit of a slug lately...but at least today I walked to the polls to vote in my state's primaries instead of driving. A nice 2.6 mile round trip 'stroll' at 3.2mph. A little something is better than nothing, and I got my civic duty done too!5

Rode 50km today which totaled to 1081km (670 miles) for August. A good month to me
Also hit the gym for an hour... I wanted to make tomorrow a complete rest day so moved the weight training to today. But I am feeling good so might still do something active tomorrow, will see5 -
A hot, slow, sweaty 10km run done yesterday.
Enjoyed a great house concert last night. It was AWESOME!5 -
I'm joining in. I'm 40 and ready to make a change. 69 YO woman who started power lifting and maxed the first week at 250 inspired me, so time to get back at this fitness and eating right. Plus my husband is in real need of eating right.5

two rest days over.. Back to the 5 day grind at the gym. Chest day today.4

I'm 45 and just started my fitness journey 2 months ago. Down 13 lbs. Just started a 60 day challenge at my gym to lose 10% body fat in that time. Had been doing mostly cardio but now I'm trying to do 3 days cardio and 3 days of strength training. Down 1.8% bf in the first week. Going on vacation for 6 days starting Friday and concerned about food/exercise. So yeah. That's me. Hi. I'm here!
Y'all are inspiring, by the way, so thanks for that :-)

Had no motivation to workout today, ha! should have taken it as a clue and stayed home. such horrible day here at work!2

Woke up stiff and sore so skipped my planned workout for yoga instead. It was good to see my flexibility remains terrible.
@narak_lol over a 1000km for the month is awesome (I had a good month too at 275km and that's almost 11hr in the saddle for me)

I'm an idiot! Managed to cut the bottom of my foot today after stepping barefoot on a laptop plug hanging out of my work bag. It's not too bad but is painful to walk on today so no running/cycling. Hopefully it will be fine tomorrow. Fingers crossed for me fit friends!0
