I posted this on Facebook today. I lived here when this abduction of Jacob Wetterling took place. There is campaign to have you outside lights on this weekend as a way to remember his light. My prayers are with his family today. For those of you who do not know the story. Jacob was abducted at age twelve 27 years ago. They just found his remains.

Prayers for his family and other families going through something this horrible.

Sorry I do not have a better picture of the ribbon on our tree. I did attach a picture of the ribbon I have tied to our tree ever since Jacob went missing. I say a prayer for all the missing children and their families when I place it on our tree. I will continue to do this because I like that it includes the word HOPE. I believe that is the spirit of his legacy. He wants us to continue to hope for a better tomorrow. It is not to forget what we lost with Jacob rather to learn to go on with the hope he left behind.ikvl6e1xe41d.jpg

Yoga tomorrow morning - the first day back after the summer break. :D

In the evening I have the W I meeting - a chat by a chimney sweep! (Not Dick Van *kitten*) I can't say I'm madly enthusiastic, but I'll probably enjoy it once I'm there. :ohwell: So annoying that there's good TV on, although I will be recording it. Later this month there is an outing to MAMMA MIA at our local theatre and I want to see if anyone can give me a lift. Otherwise I can go by train.

My DSIL wants to arrange our Christmas meet up!!!! We usually go out to a local restaurant near Christmas, but I was a bit surprised she wanted to organise it now! I know that they are very busy people! :o I also want to fix up a nearer time to meet as DH never goes to their get togethers as he is not comfortable with my family. :*;)

DH has a new great nephew, called Charlie. <3 He is the half brother of the little girl who was abducted by her mother to the Philippines. DH's nephew, sister and niece flew out there to get her back. Some of you old timers may remember. Charlie is the son of DH's nephew's new partner. :D They all seem very happy, though his ex is still being awkward.

Katla - Glad things are going through a more settled period. <3 You have worked hard at your equilibrium.

    Love Heather UK xxxxxxx

Setting some monthly goals is a really good idea, but I'm not sure where to start. I will have to think about it. I have never heard of stronglifts - am going to google it!

I have an odd question. Does anyone know an online source for decent quality wigs that are under $100? I need a new one for my grandchild who really would rather be a girl. pejig2gp166e.jpg

Hello Ladies! We went on a mini vacation and I've been reading, but the one time I tried to post it went poof, so I gave up. Had a lovely time walking in the woods, swimming and museum hopping--very sad to have to go back to work tomorrow.
Belated thanks to Barbie for starting us off for September!!!
Ate way too much this weekend but got back on the bike this evening...hope it helps.

Had a great weekend with family. Got exercise by walking in Cabelas and Walmart. Did get in pool last night for an hour.
Katlia - so glad your DH is feeling better. My DGD had her first riding lesson on Saturday. She loved it and was so focused on everything her coach told her.
Marcelyn -my DD lives in CO and told me it was 43 this morning. Bit cold for me.
I did read all the posts but didn't take notes. .love the picture of Bea and also Tractor Supply.
    See you tomorrow.

Miriam, look at wigsbuy.com and ewigsna.com for some ideas. There are wigs for children and adults on both of these sites.

Becca: Great call on how to deal with your teenaged son with regards to porn and the personal activities that go with it. You are a gifted mom.

Lauriekins: Welcome to a great group! :flowerforyou:

Alison: I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend in a motorcycle accident. :broken_heart:

Miriam: There is a local boutique here that has wigs that are inexpensive and made for fun. I have no specific idea about sizes or prices other than I think they're priced in the fun zone, not the stratosphere. I can ask the proprietor if you like and get back to you. Can you share anything about size or style? Do you have any information on size?

Call me crazy but I love to see other people happy and succeeding .

    Good Evening Ladies,

Katla, so happy that your DH is getting back to himself. Sometimes I think we don’t realize what some drugs do to us because it happens slowly. Woo Hoo for you both.

Birdie, welcome. This thing really works and this bunch of ladies are so supportive and informative that it’s hard not to stay on track. You must make “you” a priority just like you do everyone else. I have no idea what the difference is between a group and a message board. MPF calls this a forum but I just call it my “Phat Chat”.  What part of the country do you live in?

Joyce, so sorry you are still in pain. I do hope the icy hot will do the trick for you. No more staying up until Barbie gets up. That’s just not going to work. 1406637ekbdvmwjqm.gif (later) Great idea that we all ride with Pip. I know she is strong but hope she is strong enough to haul all of us on her bike.

Lisa, so glad things are looking up and you are feeling better. It sounds like so many pluses about the new situation. You are sounding like yourself and we are happy to have you back.

Janetr, when you leave please try to block out any concerns about your house. There is nothing you can do from the road other than spoil your trip. You know it will be alright even if he doesn’t keep it the way you would. Have a great time!!! (later) Good idea to box up your treasures. It’s their value to you that would be missed if something happened to them.

Lillian, glad the garage sale was a huge success. Hope you got out of your jammies before your company arrived. LOL
Miriam, it sounds like the grands are having a great time!!!

Heather, thanks for the Bea fix!! I swear she gets cuter each time I see her. Such a doll!!!!

MicheleNC, it doesn’t seem like you have talked about using the pool as much as in the past? Have you gotten to use it as much this year? I’m not ready for summer to end but it sure it nice to have the humidity down for a few days.

Kdicostanzo, welcome. Please tell us a little about yourself to help us get to know you. We also ask that you sign each post with the name you want to be called and a location, general or specific. You have done a great job so far, CONGRATS! I hope you have taken lots of measurements and pictures to help you track your journey.

Cheri, it sounds like life is wonderful in Texas. Beautiful color you have planted at your house. Gorgeous handiwork. You are so talented. Enjoy yourself and keep up the good work on all fronts.

Juanita, you are doing fantastic with your weight loss. You probably do need to slow down but keep up the good work.

Katla, so happy that your DH is still doing well off the one medication. I hope you continue to see improvement.

VickieNE, please know we are all behind you and rooting for you to get back on track. We all hate it when we gain back some of what we worked to lose. Just try to think of some of us sitting on your shoulder, watching what you eat, each time you put something in your mouth. ((((Hugs))))

KateUK, so happy for the results of your bone scan.

Allie, sorry to hear about your stress filled weekend.

pretty-pink-welcome-smiley-emoticon.gifto any Newbies that I missed. Come often and join in the chat. This thing works!! Please sign your post with what you want to be called. It makes it easier for us to respond to you. Also a location is great, be it specific or general. We are happy to have you join us.

DH and I went to the beach today. One thing after the other caused us to get a late start but we didn’t care. It was a beautiful day. I baked a chicken breast for dinner with fresh roasted veggies. I’m about to fall asleep now so better get to bed. I hope all of you suffering from stress for whatever reason, get relief soon. Life is a true roller coaster with new challenges when we least expect them.
Sending love and good thoughts to all of you and I hope you all have a Happy and Healthy Day! rainbow-smiley-emoticon.gif

    Words I live by:
Savor. I have to slow down and savor every bite.
    and
Opportunity. Each day offers new opportunities for good health and happiness if we just look for them and choose them.

I was away all day on the road. My DH's 92 year old Uncle that we are very close to is in Hospice and we needed to see him. We were very fortunate that his last words to my DH and I as he held both of us in his embrace was that "The greatest thing is Love!"

DJ: Thanks for your good wishes for DH.

Mary: It is a wonderful thing that you & your DH was able to hear the wisdom of his uncle. What a wise and wonderful gentleman.

Today has been a good day. I had a lovely yoga class this morning, and DH continues to feel better and better as the medication that he dropped works its way out of his system.

Did one segment of Tone Trouble Zones DVD, held my plank for 2 min 50 sec and then did an hour of a DVD with the barbell. Windows 10 in its infinite wisdom doesn't support Windows Media Player so we had to do some jumbling around. As it was, as the DVD went on, it lost the sound and was going very slow. Will have Vince look at it.

The plan for tomorrow is to do Amy Dixon's "Give me 10" DVD

Joyce - whenever Vince puts Ben Gay on, one of the cats licks it off him

    cdicostanzo and lauriekins - welcome!

After exercise stopped at Bi-Lo to see about more soda which I knew they wouldn't have so I got a raincheck. The gal thought that there being a limit of 4 wasn't right so she gave me two rainchecks. Oh, before I exercised I went to return things to Food Lion. After Bi-Lo came home and strung popcorn, had dinner, then played mahjongg. This one gal had it at her house since she had the day off from work. Now home and on here.

Tomorrow some of the Newcomers are going to the movies so I think I might join them. Then Mexican Train at night.

Becca - you are such a giving person

Margaret - that is so sweet of you to do that in memory of Jacob

DJ - I didn't use the pool that much this year because I was bound and determined that those weeds would get cut down. So I worked on that just about every day for a few hours. Then usually by the time I got done I was so pooped that I just wanted to flop in the chair but I knew that I had to get dinner ready. Now my project is stringing that popcorn

    Mary - (((BIG HUG)))
