I've stayed within my calorie goal all week. I am unable to exercise due to a fractured disc in my back (doctors orders) and the lack of exercise and hovering around 164 for 10+ days has got me a bit down in the dumps.

Tomorrow is a new day but any words of encouragement would be appreciated.

    You're doing a great job!
You must be doing something right to lose 40#.

I will try to post the link where I read an article about how as you lose weight, your body fills up the fat cells with water. Until your body decides to get rid of the water, your weight will stay the same.
But your clothes will feel a bit looser. <<--- do you do body measurements?

    I can't see your diary:
Another thought is to reduce your carbs, and increase your protein.
I swear, carbs to me is like a drug! Once I eat 1-2 crackers, I want to eat the entire box!!!

    You can do this!

Forgot to note: I'm wicked short = 4'11"

    SW:(Starting weight) 128
    CW:(Current weight) 122.2
GW:(Goal weight for this month) 115.5 updated)

    End of the month(09/30 Friday):

    Total weight lost: 4#

Day 7 of diet, so it must be mostly water weight loss.
But since I'm not eating any crackers or sweets or night-time crap, I'm staying around 1200calories a day, so I may have lost 0.6# of real weight.

    My clothes are looser;
My measurements went down a bit.

    Let's do this!!!

    Off to the gym.

Thank you so much for your words! I am definitely down in the dumps because I teared up while reading them.
I try with the carbs. I do good (meaning lower carbs, higher protein) about 3 days a week, then the other days I can only achieve "normal" levels. I weigh everything. Obsessive. I log everything. I'm not hungry and eat between 1250 and 1360 calls per day. I measure myself every 2 weeks. That has been stagnant for 2 weeks also.
I think I'm bummed about the fracture. I will allow myself to be a bit dumpy today, then brush myself off by tomorrow!
Thank you thank you for the kind words Amanda! It really made a difference!
Nice loss on your part too! I'm pretty short too! 5'2"! The struggle is real!
    Have fun at the gym!
    Thanks again!

It was a rough week for me getting my classroom ready. Kept up with most of planned workouts but my logging slacked. It's just a small gain and I'm not too worried about it. I'm back to logging everything again. Good job on those who lost!

    How is everyone doing?

With my new diet, I feel like I'm in a new relationship, you know how it's all fun and cute and butterflies when you first start dating someone?

With this diet, I've lost the most weight while feeling amazing, and not deprived and pretty excited about this new road.
Granted, I'm only on Day 10, but I am very happy with the results so far.
I also can see myself sticking to this.

Look at my lunch: vibrant grilled lime shrimp with arugula/cherry tomato/broccoli salad. So yummy!

Every day, I wake up feeling great!

    Let's do this!

    Starting weight 265 lbs
    Weight 1st Sept 239.5
    Weight 8th Sept 237.5
    Weight 15th Sept 235.4

Weight loss so far in Sept: 4lbs

On track to get the 5lbs this month and almost 30 pounds down since starting this in June. Sometimes I wish the losses were bigger but I've been steadily losing 1-2 pounds every week and I've stuck to it for 3 months now without problems which is better in the long run I guess.

Everybody else is doing great, keep up the awesome work!
