Bought a new kitchen scale today, don't know what happened to my other one. Found that I have been "over logging" my food. Which of course, is a good thing, right? LOL4

I took some scouts on a cross country hike today. 5.5 miles up and down. It took some 3.5 hours with rest stops. Sweated through everything!7

Rode my bike for 2.5 hours. Actually was not too motivated and wanted to do the plan B, which is sleep in or just cruise on the flat bike lane . But finally dragged my *kitten* out of the door and sticked to the original small hill. Life is a constant struggle lol5

Hi all.
I have been on a diet for three weeks now and exercising too, it's going well. It was really useful that a gym opened this month in my town, which is both cheap and easy to get to on the bus (I don't have a car). I am 50 yrs old and 14 stone so there's a way to go. I want to lose three stones in weight and get fit, and although these are good things in themselves they are also a stepping stone to my big ambition which is to join the Royal Air Force Reserves. So I'm feeling good that I've taken the first steps towards my rather ambitious goal!3 -
I get to meet with my personal trainer today! 20 minutes ahead of time to just go over "my goals".
But, I don't want to write the program!! I want her to do HER job which hopefully is to give me a workout worth the coin....4 -
Yay I finally found a forum for my age bracket! I'm male 48, 5 11 and have been on MFP for 3 weeks. I started at 225 and dropped to 165 using WW in 08. Kept the weight off via trail running until 2015 when plantar fasciitis sidelined me. I got back to 195 before the alarm bells went off. I'm at 182 currently ... Shooting for 159 with a max of 10 miles running per week5

Just back from a fun weekend in Maine. My wife and I spent time visiting Kennebunkport and Ogunquit and I snuck in my final triathlon of the season, the PumpkinMan tri, which was just a sprint distance event. I missed the podium, finishing 4th in my age group, but overall I was happy with the 1:27:35 finish. My swim remains mediocre at 2:00/100yds, but the bike split was solid at an 18.9mph moving ave and the run is finally starting to come back. 5k run split was 26:14, or 8:27/mile. Will now shift focus to running in preparation for the Hartford Half marathon in October.
