    Marriage is for suckers

Does suckers mean happy people that have lots of sex, companionship, fun, support one another through life's challenges. Suckers is referring to the oral sex, I guess. Marriage is for people that have oral sex.

Good for you....I thought the same. ....oral all the way. Lol

So I know Im being childish but my fiance was inspired by my workouts and progress so he rejoined the gym and now he is getting faster results than me so Im feeling a little jealous. I should be super happy that we are in this together because we both want to be at goal weight before we set a date. Just venting lol

    Sometimes but it passes.

If I really consider the alternatives I always end up knowing it's not THAT BAD!

@DarleneReid577 hope things look brighter tomorrow.

No more than I got tired of not having someone to share my life with when I was single.

    Grass is always greener, etc....

I think the important part of the question is understanding the difference between being temporarily tired of it all and being in a situation which threatens to destroy who you are.

It seems like the Chit-Chat section is designed only for singles. Some of us are happily married. :) I would love to meet some other married MFP!

    I agree, hello everyone!

Having been married for what seems like 642 years, yes. Consider the consequences. And consider them again.

How many in single are actually married?

I put one post on Divorce page about my brush with subject once.

Any other married chit chatters ever considered the Big D?

We considered it after going through a really rough spell a few years ago. Husband got out of the service after 4 years with a combat MOS and some rough deployments under his belt, we had 3 children under 3 in that timeframe, I worked in a highly demanding career, and I was running out of patience while he was drinking and battling demons to cope. It took alot of work to get out of it. Ultimatums for help were made and time eventually healed wounds. We're in a much better place now but it wasn't easy.

Something really close to this, and more. Still isn't easy.

I'm probably not going to be in the thread anymore. I'm back to a lot of dancing. And I need to spend more time on fitness. Plus cleaning and kids. And social life. I don't have time for the internet. But, it was nice chatting for a little while (I was in recovery from medical issues), and meeting everyone. Take care! :kissing_heart:
