I had a 1/2 of a glazed donut and 1/2 of a chocolate long john donut b/c I couldn't decide which one I wanted more. I definitely had to stop myself from completely eating them both, lol.

Nice will power not eating both.

LOL! I'm sure we could find a spot for you, lol.

So... I ended up splitting a glaze donut with another coworker, so I skipped lunch to make room for those calories. Tomorrow is a whole new day and I'm excited for my donut(s), lol, hopefully I can keep it to the 1.

I am now living vicariously through you.

Where do I send my resume?

I feel compelled to eat one in your honor. Any specific requests?

While I don't like doughnuts and can't eat them anymore, I am curious about the DunkinDonut Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Square. Can you try one of those and report back?

I might have one of my family members try that, because I don't like a lot of "stuff" on my donuts. I'm a pretty simple person when it comes to food.

I would try that...if there were Dunkin Donuts in Idaho. :'(

Well that eliminates me from moving to Idaho.

I used to like glazed cake donuts. Or cruellers (sp?). I prefer the dense consistency. I don't think I'd like this either but it sure sounds good!

Not unless you can get a pumpkin one like my local "not Krispy Kreme crap" shop makes. It comes with cream cheese frosting. (think pumpkin roll)

I have, on more than one occasion, gone through a fast-food drive-thru and ordered so much food that I ordered two drinks so the person at the window would think two people were eating the food. Nope - it was all for me. That had to be when I absolutely hit rock bottom a few years ago. Good news - I haven't been through a drive-thru since I joined MFP.

    That's an awesome accomplishment.

When I go through the drive through these days, I usually have two 6' 2" teenage boys in the SUV. I could order the whole menu and they would probably believe none of it is for me. LOL!

I'm not a huge fan of pumpkin (I do like a good pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving though) but I will look at my donut shops and see if I can find one. As much as I love donuts and talk about eating them, I very rarely have one. Probably less than once a month.

When I go out with hubby and sons they always ask if it is to go! Several times. I think we make them loose their minds.

It is amazing and since I was diagnosed with celiac the week of Thanksgiving, the last one I had was the last real doughnut I had.
I have tried gf ones, but they just aren't worth the calories or money.
OTOH, I could make myself a pumpkin spice cake now, freeze individual pieces and eat it from now until Christmas. Hmm....weekend project, maybe.

I could go for that. Do you think you would have it till Christmas? You have others ing the house that may eat it up. I suspect that you will have to make several buy the time Christmas comes around.

Krispy Kreme is good, lol. I especially love the chocolate iced glazed donut. It's definitely not the best donut shop around, but it does get the job done, lol.

So... I purchased a groupon for 2 - 50 minute sessions with a PT. I really liked the place and the PT, but I knew in my gut that the 2 sessions were going to be it b/c it's a PT gym so I knew the prices were going to be too rich for my comely budget.

He gave me the price sheet after our last session yesterday, and it took everything in me not to laugh out loud when I read the prices, but instead of just saying "I can't afford this," I lied through my teeth about checking my budget and making sure I could fit it in b/c I didn't want to reject him to his face or get the salesman spiel. My last PT I had, I just stopped making appointments b/c I couldn't afford it anymore.

    Does/has this happen to anyone?

    I've never hired a PT.

But, I was just discussing hiring a powerlifting coach and competing with my hubby last night. And he seems to think that's a great idea. So, that might happen! :#

You got, Tami!! You are my hero!!

Wut? There are no Dunkin Donuts at all? I can't even wrap my brain around that. I pass 4 of them on my 10 mile commute to work.

ETA that if I go three more blocks up the road once I reach my office, there's another one.

Welcome!
