Not sure why, but this made me smile.

Meh. I feel kinda fat and old today.
Luckily I have no one I need to impress, so there is that.1 -
I used to think and speak very negatively about myself. But, a friend did an intervention. She sort of gave me lessons and instructions on not doing that, taking compliments, and compiling a list of positives to counteract it. I'm lucky to have had some good friends. But, actually I realize that you have to see yourself as having value. That's what's actually most important. Though it's still good if it's possible to stop distorted thinking. I just wanted to say this last thing on this particular topic/issue. It's not advice to anyone, just myself.1

Im ugly, but it aint stopping me from doing whatever i want...and if someone wants this, i make sure to swing them by an Eye wash station just so they make sure its what they want, dont want any false advertisement, compromising our night out.1

I just hang out with extremely ugly people.
By comparison, I look like a movie star.
Somehow it works.4 -

Yep. I avoid looking at photos or reflections of myself whenever i can. Getting compliments puts me on guard too. Losing weight might help but not much.1

Lmao not at all sir!0 -
low self esteem/self worth/self image coupled with an overactive mind means on the rare occasion i am given a compliment i always question the motivation behind it; even amidst the knowledge that doing that is a result of LSE. I'm sure many others are in the same boat.
We all seem to want to rebel against societal norms regarding what is good/is not good and how we see ourselves, but we are just as quick to forget that when making judgement of others.2 -
Bear I want you to think of this does he make you happy if so then you and him to talk if not find out what will make you happy happiness is one of the most precious things in life.0

If you get a compliment from your significant other just not and whatever you do don't suggest they need therapy, glasses, or better taste in men lol.0

I definitely have days where I just feel "blah" about everything, from the way clothing fits, to how my make-up is etc. It comes & goes for me. I try not to tear myself apart the way I used to years ago, I've certainly gotten better with it & just accepting myself how I am. But for sure, I have good & bad days.1
-
I think we all have those days.
It's my job to be fit and confident - does that mean I always feel confident in how I look? No!
I have off days the same as everyone else.
What matters is being kind to yourself and realising that you're the most perfect version of you out there!3 -
Oh I'm feeling this today for sure. ..0

In my heart, I know I am not an ugly person. However, my brain goes through many of my faults on a daily basis. It is the small things that add up like seeing my large pores in the mirror, noticing new wrinkles, catching myself in a window and seeing my stomach protrude, having to make sure I have something covering my upper arms at all times, or trying to fit into clothes from a year ago. While none of those things are a big deal in reality, they can certainly wreak havoc on my confidence.0

It depends. If I do my hair and makeup, and don't eat much (so I'm not bloated) I feel good. But most days I feel awful about myself.0

It really is a battle to combat those negative thoughts in our head. It is always easier to believe the negative than the positive about ourselves.0 -

I could've written this myself. I'm my absolute worst critic.1 -
