This challenge group is getting less active--- several people have quit. KUDOS to the remaining few. We still have weeks to go and still can meet our goal. As a mini-challenge this week, I am going to go to bed by 10 and be trying to sleep by 10:30. I want to get into a good sleep habit so I can start waking up early to exercise.
Do you have a mini- challenge for this week?
Midway is when it starts getting hard and easy to throw in the towel. I'm super grateful for the ones that have stayed because you guys are the biggest reason I pulled myself out of that motivation pit last week.
My arch nemesis just announced her fabulous new diet and weight loss plans. So my mini goal is to notget dragged into a weight loss competition with her ( mostly in my own head) so that I don't jeopardize my long term consistency for short term losses.

I started last week but lost track of this thread! I aim to weigh in on Wednesdays. It's a little ambitious to have a 27 lb drop in 9 weeks--that's 3 lbs/week. But at my size it seems possible, and either way, progress is a win in itself! If it matters to anyone, I plan to stick to a very low-carb, very high-fat, moderate protein eating style (LCHF/keto). Just started recently, and with the holidays coming, it'll be an interesting challenge!

Had a scrapbook retreat last week so I had gained whiled I was there. Didn't make great choices. Luckily, I lost the weight before the next weigh-in. Hoping to see the scale go down next week since I've been suck at the same number for 3 weeks.
My mini-challenge for the week is to walk at least twice a day. I'm great with walking for an hour in the morning but would also like to walk before dinner. Think it will help speed up my metabolism or at least burn more calories.2 -

I am back on track -- at least for a while --- being responsible to myself and see a little progress. It is hard when there is so much snack/Halloween at our house. On Sunday, I made lunches and breakfasts-to-go for most of the days this week -- so, it is pre-planned and food I want to eat. I have neglected exercise and need to get back on track. Our clocks change this weekend for day-light-savings, so I will get an extra hour in the morning.... I hope to use this time to exercise. We'll see how this goes....4 -

I'm a couple days late posting...my scale & I were having a disagreement Monday. Progress! I suppose I should update my goal weight...my ultimate before Dec 20 goal is actually 199...I know not much diff but under 200! Before the new year. I'm doing a dance in my head (mostly because I'm sick and don't have the energy to really do it. And it's 5:45 in the am. Only masochist do real dancing at that time of the day.).
