    I went back through my SHealth app and a few of my numbers were wrong. Not sure what was going on, but some mornings the numbers seemed lower than when I checked the night before. They now feel more accurate.

    Right now I am about 1,500 steps above where I need to be and the weather is getting warmer again so I can start walking outside again!!

    I fell behind last week due to my work schedule. Will try to get back on track this week, got a 5k on Friday.

    My original goal for the month was 155 miles. But I came down with a solid case of the lazies and munchies and now I am kicking myself.

    October 1-7 = 36.37 miles
    October 8-14 = 15.16 miles
    October 15 = 1.54 miles
    October 16 = 5.56 miles
    October 17 = 6.33 miles
    October 18 = 6.45 miles
    October 19 = 6.18 miles

    Total for the month so far: 77.59 Miles

    so my septic insect bite on my knee didn't respond to the antibiotics - and I ended up with the emergency doctors, and getting an abcess 'drained' in A and E a week ago.... Very painful and unpleasant, and regular painful dressing changes. Needless to say, walking has not been high on the agenda (and swimming totally out). And the CFS has been trying too.

    Well, almost at goal for SUP, but way behind for glider/walking. Will probably get some mileage next week as I anticipate potentially being land bound. We'll see if I can at least get 1/2 way to my walking goal. May have to adjust it down for next month since I started weight lifting and that is taking time away from jumping on the glider nightly - just too tired most days.

    21 Oct - 5700 - at last the pain is going down!

    Thanks for all the good wishes. I was really surprised to see my step count - getting to and from the doc every other day, and having to Excercise the puppy has clearly kept me more active than I realised (or frankly needed / wanted). I am feeling a lot better now, and the pain is so much more under control.
