Really- no one on this- no one?
I'm sad.
Thought it....
I knew someone must have seen it- I couldn't POSSIBLY be the only one.
And this is why we are friends.
@RoxieDawn HA- but now you see it- and you too can giggle with the rest of the high school boys who do 0 burpees.
Also- To play the game.
Zero. My score is Zero- which clearly means I'm in terrible shape.
Ohhhh come on, not even a 1/2 and fall on your face?.. maybe even take a nap while you are down?
I did zero because I am not even a quitter.
I didn't even try. You have to start to be a quitter.
I could probably get on board with the half burpee nap thing. that sounds up my alley.
We will excuse you cause you are right, quitters have to start.. good call..
Your challenge then is girly 1/2 pushup.. If you take out the 1/2 it just a nap..
Listen- I told you- I need an extensive napping plan that rotates in a progressive manner.
napping- and half pushs.
But not at the same time- I don't want to hurt myself without a qualified napping trainer to help me.
Stop trying to gymtimmidate me into doing something beyond my means.
Well I did give you 12 months.. geez.. fintess goals are seriously lacking, but who the heck am I? I can only do 1.
OH OH OH 12 months- yes- I will work on it- 12 months to a half push up nap burpee- Yes- That's a good goal.
i'll start training immediately after December- you know you can't do anything till January 1st anyway.
There won't be room at the gym to do your training after January 1st.
I'm sure there's a home training program I can work on at home.
well. I'll start the day after- because- you know why not the day after.
I'm sure you could just do the training before you get out of bed in the morning, it would make the nap part easier for a beginner.
You guys are cracking me up

@JoRocka I agree with this, you don't want to try too much too soon. It would be horrible to suffer a nap induced injury.1 -

I once napped on a cushion with a button on it. It took at least 6 hours for the button imprint on my cheek to fade. The shame...0 -

Sweet! I've never had one specifically for me. Although, I am sure I've been partial inspiration for a few. :laugh:3 -

Completed: Here's how mine went: Warmup: 10min easy jog, Bodyweight Squats 3x25, Push-Ups 3x25, Swiss Ball Crunches 1x50 - Burpees: 55 (HR:149bpm)2

Dude, you just beat everyone in Men's Health EVER.... 52 was the high score....0 -
55?! Holy shiznit. You must go like the proverbial off a shovel!
I had a burpee variation in my workout today (plank jack at the bottom), it was four 20 second intervals with 10 seconds between. I got 4 in each interval, so 16. Extrapolate x 3 would be 48 but I strongly suspect I'd only do about half because exhaustion and sloppy. Maybe 30 at a push. And without push up.
Still not going to actually try though because 3 minutes of burpees would be horrible.0 -
Knees to Chest? Just tested it...I can do approximately one in three minutes.2
-
Well, it took me about 10.5 minutes to do 100 burpees, so I guess that puts me at 28 in 3 minutes. Meh.
(Note – for burpees I kind of fall to the ground/chest, rather than do a slow, controlled push-up. If I had to do a REAL push-up, then I could do maybe…. 2?)
2 -
I totally didn't remember that I was planning on doing this until I was finishing my circuit. I was smoked and running late at that point. My bad. Tomorrow.0
-
If it's true that a push-up is roughly equivalent to benching 60% of bodyweight, then I'm at least two months away from being able to do even one good form burpee.0
-
I do sets of 10-six counts w/2 additional exercises each set; the burpees take about 45 seconds. The key is constant movement - THATs what will wear your @$$ out.1

I am officially doing the nap challenge stating today... I will get the one burpee done sometime today.
I might even try my day 1 nap challenge to include day 1 through day 15 and see how that goes.. But only one burpee though, I might exhaust myself and have to repeat the nap cycle.0 -
I've never done 3 mins max burpees before, but I've tested 7 mins max burpees before and got 103, and 1 minute max burpees and got 19. I'd like to do this challenge, but would prob prefer to do the 7 minute one again to try and beat my old score. Totally agree that lifting, running, etc should form parts of your all-round regime and that burpees are in no way the definitive marker, even though they're my fave!
The 1 minute max I do every few weeks out of interest. Perhaps I'll hold out on doing the 3 min challenge until the OP has posted his score1
