Rest day Hmm, how to explain...
I don't feel winded, so I must not have worked hard. If I didn't work hard then I must have rested. Not too hard a concept.
My logging sucks:
First walk with 40lbs at vest was 6.37 miles in 106minutes (16:38 pace)
Second walk, no vest, was 6 miles in 87minutes (a solid 14:30 pace)
And then 2:00 plank (first one on elbows then up to straight arm for second)
But hey, I did keep up with the only important game. The Lions won again!2 -

Alipisie Sundays are usually difficult for me as we attend both Church Services. IF it is a bright sunny day and not too hot I can walk with my girlies about 2 pm but this Sunday we had pouring rain so that did not get done...We all do what we can and if that is our BEST then great for US! You are logging and it does NOT SUCK!

Woot, picked up my new raceboard today! Conditions were a bit brutal (10-15 mph winds with a light to moderate chop), but I had to take it out for a spin anyway. Didn't go far, but I think this board is going to be pretty amazing. Still very stable on the chop and it was speedy when I was going downwind. Looking forward to getting it out Wednesday when it is supposed to be low wind and smooth on the bay.

I don't know what I did to myself...feels like I bruised my right hip and right shoulder, though there are no bruises showing...just sore and achy...and I don't remember any falls in the last couple of days or even bumping into anything like a table (which is how I get most of my weird bruises). I actually took some Advil tonight because it's been hurting all day. Didn't feel up to doing much today...hope to go out and paddle tomorrow though...still showing 'smooth' conditions...I love smooth waters!

Hi. I am going to join this challenge. I know with the holidays here its a struggle but I won't be alone with you all.
I thought I didn't have stats for the weekend because I was charging my fitbit but my phone keeps track. Technology gotta love it.
Dec 1: 16,260 steps - 7.09 miles, 14 floors
Dec 2: 19,075 steps - 8.32 miles, 12 floors

About 9000 a day on average, best day 15555... Getting nearer a 10k average goal - just when I am outside.
Some lovely wintry mornings and sunsets with the dog too...

@rachelr1116 I get it. I've been known to go to the gym at midnight for a couple hours knowing full well I have to get up at 5am. Sometimes earned exhaustion beats a bit of rest.

@alipsie19 - thanks! Everything still mysteriously hurts - I'm thinking I must have bumped into something at the SUP store on Monday.
New raceboard is amazing! Went about a mile further than on my short boards in the same amount of time that it took me to do the 4.25 miles today, and I completely lost steam at the end of the paddle (was uber hangry). Just got my new paddle today after I got back from my workout, so have plans to take new board and new paddle out tomorrow, if the weather cooperates.
