Yikes, I caught a horrible virus this week, but instead of resting my sorry butt in bed, I wanted to run so, so badly. I really pushed myself to run 10 miles at 10min/mi nonstop today (for better or for worse!) and right now, as I bask in the afterglow, I'm just on top of the world. We'll see how this decision turns out tomorrow though! :P

Keep Moving!!!!!i walked everyday in june but i got lazy logging in the miles to my ticker. i need to add up what ive done for july. june was hard for me my dad was very sick and passed away june 15. and im more motivated now to do better so i can make him proud in every aspect in my life.

Yesterday ran 4.09 miles / 40 minutes on TM. 27 minutes @ 6.0; 13 minutes @ 6.4...that's my fastest TM speed yet!
You all inspire me to keep moving. I'm in awe with what everyone has logged in for the month...and we're only 1/2 thru! AWESOME!!!!0 -
Thanks everyone. I am listening to the doc cause he is a great doc and I know he is right. I am just so frustrated cause EVERYTIME I get to seriously training for a race something goes wrong. It is hard to get up to the race miles and just a few weeks off and you have to start near the beginning again! UGH.
I love to mountain bike. My husband and I go at least every other day. I am looking at road bikes so I can go out and just ride hard and far. You can only go so long on the bikes at the gym. Their seats are so weird and start to hurt after awhile.

I estimated 10 miles today. Probably did more though, as I did 7.1 on the elliptical and stairs, and the rest I did on a spin bike for a few minutes.0

@ Miswen - invest in a padded seat...totally worth it! It shouldn't take too many rides before your rear becomes use to the seat. You can get a MONSTER calorie burn from a good bike ride!0 -
My goat is 50 miles.. I started last week... I will def. have to move it on weekends since I started a little late.. and I use an arch trainer which only gets me a little under to just over 2 miles a work out. I'm going to try to make up some extra miles tomorrow though!

This challenge is picking up speed instead of slowing down. Everybody's doing an amazing job :drinker:
I had to drive to the Peloponnese today under a blazing sun, in the middle of a heatwave, to collect some seriously delayed money from a couple of customers. My reward was an evening 1K swim at a beach near Corinth, good enough to wash the heat off and slightly move my mile total upwards.0 -
Staph infection is worsen not better. I feel horrible and may not be around for a couple days. Hope you all are doing great. If I feel better tomorrow I will catch up with the posts. Won't be logging any miles the next few days.....doctor's orders! UGH0

I added another 4.5 mile bike ride tonite! The pooches needed some exercise so I slowly gave them a run, it was still 83* out!!! I was thinking my goal was 125 miles not 120, I will definitely knock it out tomorrow!!0

Hey everyone! Sorry I have not been updating the last week...I got a really nasty "silent" migraine and was not able to get in any miles until today. Walked 5 miles! Looks like I have some ground to make up...hopefully I'll still be able to reach my goal for the month! Updated my ticker
