    Checking in for the week:
Jan 2: 1min (forearm and knees)
    Jan 3: 1 min "
    Jan 5: 2 min (2x1)
Jan 8: 2 min (2x1) (leaning plank with arms on edge of bed)

Excuses: I empathize with Spliner. I, too, have been sick with a cold and cough. Rest is a good thing. Hopefully, I'll be back on track this week.

Well, think planking is out for me for a while. Had a bit of an accident last night and fell down the stairs and did some damage to my good knee. =/ If anything changes I will jump right back in.

Get better soon. There's time for planks when you are healed!

haha, if only & thanks. Given up hope on the one knee though. Its been decade and a half battle. going to be going for a nother surgery at some point in the next while to fix up a torn mensicus. But there is not much left in there so it is just bone on bone. Now I have the other one to worrry about now too. That being said, I still did manage to do an upper body workout and some crunches still. =)

@Spliner1969 Just make sure your healthy before you start catching up. Doing while I was still sick didn't help in the long run.

Yea I tried to ignore it and was sick Friday too. I did extra that day, huge burn and even lifted the night before a bit. By 10am Friday I had regrets lol. Been sick all weekend. Whether it was pushing too hard or the flu either way it wasn't fun so taking it easy.

    1/1=4x30sec.
    1/2=4x30sec.
    1/3=4x1min.
    1/5=4x1min.
    1/7=4x1min.
1/9=2x1min. All forearm planks so far. Total to date = 18 minutes.
Sick as a dog with some kind of flu or something. Not much in the mood for planks or anything else either.

Sorry I've been MIA - life got a bit in the way the past few days. Welcome to all the new people!! To all our sick people, get well soon (and yes, rest is good; planks can be done later when you are healthy)!!

Sorry about your injury @vb4evr! That sucks. Hope the doctors can patch you up. Glad you are still finding some good workouts despite the injury!

To everyone else, way to go for continuing to kick booty with this challenge!

So...yes, I was doing my planks tonight at midnight to get them in. I'm a bit behind, but I think my next few days are going to be a bit more normal. Next weekend is looking a bit busy again too, so need to do some catch up during this week.

    5 January: Nothing done
    6 January: None
    7 January: Still Nothing
8 January: Is it a rest day when you've not done them in 4 days?
    9 January: 3 minutes (3 x 60 sec - straight arm)

    Total: 11 of 60 minutes
    Left to Goal: 49 minutes

And I'm sure we all can relate...

    Day 8 - 2x1 min
    Day 9 - 2x1 min, 2 min
    Day 9 total = 33 min
It is amazing how hard it can be to do 3 minutes of planks! I can't do all three minutes at once although I can sometimes do a 2 minute plank.

Doesn't matter if you hit your goal, it matters that you set a goal and that you try. Do your best, and come back next month, and the month after, and keep up the effort. Many of us have set higher goals because this challenge has made us better. It will you too, just don't give up! ;)

Was think about this challenge last night... to get through it I have to average 2:45sec planks every day for the next 20 days... Hmmm! Gotta do it.
