Sorry, my inner geek stuck it's nasty little head out ....I'll pack my bags
Okay i am a bit late tuning, but i laughed a lot reading all of your posts!
I alternate between cooking from scratch and microwave/oven ready. If it fits in my calories then it is fine by me.
I have gained my weight back but only when i stopped counting, so if i keep doing that i can keep enjoying lots of different foods be it healthy or unhealthy!
I lost 6 stone in 14 months through an "Everything in moderation" approach to food, and discovering which exercises I enjoy.
The moderated foods included ZERO clean eating and PLENTY of rum and chocolate :-D
Feel free to add me!
I've lost 100lbs and kept 80 of them off for the last 4 years (hoping this is the year, I get rid of those 20 lbs once and for all). I have drank diet sodas and ate whatever fit my calorie range for 90% of the time. I have been very conscientious of the amount of protein I eat daily, but other than that, if it fits in my calories for the day, I eat it. Feel free to add me as a friend. I have open diary for friends that also have open diarys! (I will show you mine if you show me yours type thing...haha)
I try not to eat too much sugar or fast-food during the week, but starting lunchtime Friday? All is fair in love and dieting! Still, if I happen to to want a cookie or a glass of wine during the week, then I have it and just log it in my diary. Life is too short to freak out over some cheese or a bit of fudge.

Absolutely. On a more serious note - I do take care to try to hit foods every day that will help me meet my macros/nutrients. Twinkies and Oreos aren't (in my book) the evils they're made out to be, but if I decided to overdo it, there's every possibility I would pay for it in one way or another.
Learning balance has been pretty difficult for me, enough that I don't really want to have to repeat the lesson.
Haha this would include me! I eat within reason, and I still look pretty damn decent. I basically eat whatever I want but I don't constantly binge and I make sure to work off as much as I can.
We're doing a biggest loser type thing at work. Most of coworkers are like "I've cut out sugar" or "I'm just eating salads." Meanwhile, I'm noshing on a chocolate chunk scone our pastry chef just made and losing weight. Salads are gross (I DO get plenty of veggies and actually love them....I'm just not big on salads, particularly when the wind chill is -2).
I don't know why it took me so long to figure this out.
I'm really disappointed by this thread.
I settled down with a plate of cheesecake to read some comments about how you're all going to die from sugar cancer unless you eat 100% clean and haven't seen a single one. Not even a mention of kale. Where's the broscience?
Hmphhh.

Because most of the info available about dieting is *kitten*.
Read any article on it in the MSM and it is someone's screwed up idea about what you need to do to lose weight. And I see the Bid O is on tv commercials again promoting WW. Why do people listen to her when she has proven that what she does is yo-yo and she can't keep the weight off?

I can't hear you over the sound of me eating a Twinkie.
I'm a vegetarian, but I certainly don't eat "clean" or judge others on what they eat. I'm trying to eat LESS of the sugar, etc - but I'm not trying to give it up completely. I love my carbs, I love my liquor, and I'm letting myself indulge! Just not letting myself binge every night. No judgement here!
