2 days of doing some HIIT on the bike and rower at the gym and upping the weight on some of the machines. I refuse to be a weak little old lady26

I have been back at work for 2 weeks after Christmas holidays and I've fitted in exercise around my work commitments and cycled for a total of 4hours on my stationary bike. Another 2 hours planned for this weekend.12

It's been too long since I heard something positive about my body from my dad.
That makes me so sad. Reminds me of when I lost weight the first time around, my stepmother looked at a snack I was eating after dinner and said something like, "If you keep eating like that you'll just get as big as a house again." Uhhh... Thank you?
People!? Last week my hairdresser told me my head seemed less fat. Ummmm, thanks????

Pardon my ignorance, but what does "NSV" stand for? I gather it's a "moment" when you realised that your hard work was paying off.. but not sure what it means exactly.
If that's the case then... um.. hmm... OH! Wearing leggings and not having a belly bulge. For the first time in my life, my stomach is nearly flat. (I'm 41 years old... just to put that in perspective: Even when I weighed under 50 kg, or 120 lbs... I still had a belly - not a "sexy" belly either)11 -

If you need some inspiration read "What Makes Olga Run". She competed at masters events until she was in her 90's!! I want to be THAT type of little old lady

Can someone talk to a moderator and get Non-Scale Victory put into the description?

My daughter made cookies tonight. Baking as therapy. And I was in a comfort eating mode, so I dove in. Got two cookies in, and thought, "WTF am I doing? This won't help." Put the rest back and got a mug of lemony tea.25

I walked into the work lounge for lunch and there was a huge layout of cookies, cupcakes, chips, and more. I stuck to me pre-tracked and nutritious lunch and I didn't even miss the junk today. Some days may be harder than today but this was an awesome NSV for me today.22

@Nova or @Alex - sorry, you guys are the only two staff names I can ever remember! Any chance of getting the thread title adjusted to include this so that new folks don't need to keep asking what NSV means?
Thanks!5 -
In October I had to take off the rings I wore every day because they got too tight. As of today they're back on and here to stay!22

My counsellor called me fat last month but not in a rude way like he said you're looking fat. He is just really concerned about my health so anyway today he said I look thin and my arms are looking thin too! And i checked my weight there it was 75 kgs. Last month it was 77!! Lost 2 kilos! 15 more to go!16

This is totally an SV but I was under 200 lbs today!!! For the first time in at least 6 years.. But my NSV is that I've kept this up for over a year and over 70 lbs and I'm determined to hit my goal weight this year!53

Today not only marks 120 days logging in, but also 120 days with no soda!!!
I am not a 'in moderation' type person with soda and certian fast foods. So i cut soda out cold turkey! I still crave it but i no longer need it.29 -

6 years I lost 4 stone and its still off. Sadly the additional stone I lost after this hasn't, but I have got half a stone of it off again and it was a wake up call to never take it for granted. Also, 2 periods of illness in the last year that kept me out of exercise for a month, but I am getting back to it again. Never giving up.18
