My name is U2R2 and I am overweight.
Not a declaration for an Overeaters Anonymous meeting but an exclamation for MFP.
I have left obesity class one, two and three lying on the trail with over one and a half million of my footprints.
On to Onederland.

Also ... I just noticed that my Fitbit registered almost 75,000 calories burned in the month of January!!18

I had set my weight-loss goal to the top of the healthy BMI range for my height, but I just got my body fat tested.
NSV: Turns out I have more lean mass than the BMI calculator assumes!
SV: So instead of having 42 more pounds to lose, I only have 25!
(I know they're both imperfect methods, so I'll maintain there for a while, then reassess.)29 -

I walked into the kitchen at the office today and 2 colleagues were discussing exercise, one turned to me and said "You obviously workout, what do you do?".
I obviously workout.57 -
I really didn't want to cook yesterday for dinner and fast food was super tempting, but I ignored the lazy way and went home and cooked anyway. So I got to eat much more food for fewer calories.27

I am not one to keep things that don't fit or hold on to clothing I can't wear.
HOWEVER, 14 years ago was the last time I did a section hike on the AT. Since that time, I've kept my ratty backpack and 1 pair of Columbia zip-off pants. They haven't fit for over 12 years.
Last night my SO and I were talking and I grabbed my old photo album to show him something and out fell a picture of that last hike. I said "I have those pants. When I can fit them, I'll feel like I am making progress." The SO insisted I am smaller now than in the picture.
Of course I had to prove him wrong so I dug out the backpack, found the pants and held them up. I said no way would they go on, but I had to prove him wrong so feet in, over the calves, past the knees, over the thighs...OMG...over the hips...surely they won't button...HOLY @#$%!...buttoned and not even slightly snug. They fit better now than they did back then.
I could not stop grinning.
The second one would be people at work. Someone asked me about my weight loss and another co-worker overheard and that was it. It was like a landslide of questions and people telling me how healthy I look. It was kind of great - I won't lie - I didn't think people had noticed other than the occasional, you look nice or something generic. Now I know they just didn't say anything because they weren't sure how to bring it up. It felt great.46 -
1) I am beginning to like what I see in the mirrors in the gym (front view, not sure about the side view and I dare not look at the rear view) - it's taken me six weeks just to be able to actually look at myself, I've always averted my eyes up until now
2) My "small" Harry Potter/Hogwarts dressing gown that I was given for Christmas is too big for me. As I've not lost that much weight, I can only assume that my workouts at the gym are having a good effect
3) Did my usual cycle ride today. I must have ridden a good ten miles into a really strong headwind - it slowed me down considerably and really made my legs burn. My legs don't usually burn on cycle rides so that was a new experience for me. Anyway, I completed about 22 miles (forgot to map it but it was the same as yesterday).
But the really important thing about my run today was that spring is most definitely on it's way and that makes me so happy. I saw catkins, daffodils and - one of my favourite flowers - snowdrops. Hundreds of them. I swear that they weren't there yesterday. If I hadn't been going up a hill into a headwind I'd have stopped to take a photo but the thought of a hill start was just too much for me I also saw a bird that I haven't seen for years - a wren. The hidden benefits of cycling outdoors - way better than the stationary bikes at the gym.29 -
My 3 pairs of jeans that sort of still fit (but getting exceedingly large by the day) and was super stressed about what to wear to work today. My wardrobe choices are getting pretty dire since I'm the incredible shrinking woman. Everything just drapes and hangs off of me.
Somehow on my hubby's side of the closet were jeans I didn't even know existed anymore. They have to be at least 10 years old, but practically new because I only think they fit for about 5 minutes after I got them (I think they were a gift??).
All I know is that I was facing going to work without pants and I slipped those bad boys on, and dayyyyummmmmm. They fit...and I'm walking around the office today like I'm all that and a pat of butter.38 -

My oldest has been a hellion today and after kicking me so hard she winded me and telling me she doesn't love me (I know she's 4 but ouch) I had to take all her toys away. Emotionally exhausted and the fat girl within keeps screaming, "ANXIETY!!! CHANGE YOUR STATE WITH FOOD! YOUR HUSBAND HAS COOKIES!"
Thankfully it's my weight loss start anniversary so not today inner saboteur...
