@crzycatlady1 that seems like a whole lot of crazy. On the one hand I'm like poor woman (mental health issues are terrible things) on the other hand I'm like poor y'all. Congrats on the house! I always have wanted to buy an older fixer upper. We'll see if one day I can make that happen.

On another note, I think I've finally gotten over my Super Bowl food hangover. I ate so much.

Well, it's been an 'interesting' few days-as per signed contract we took possession of our new house on Sunday, and realized that the seller decided she didn't want to leave/move after all (mental health issues). We are now very friendly with the county's sheriff's department/deputies :p

Through all of that, along with the general craziness of moving into a new (150 year old) house, my eating/food has been all over the place lol. There have been days, like Sunday, where I don't think I ate anything at all besides ibuprofen and diet soda, and then days like last night where I ate nachos for supper as we were hooking up security cameras around our house :| Found my scale so I weighed myself this morning, for the first time since last Friday, and I'm holding steady so happy about that! She has till the end of the day today to remove the rest of her property from our garage and then we've been told by a deputy to move what's left to the road. There's a car in the garage that we may have to get towed out as well. I may just have coke and rum for supper tonight lol :p

    Holy crap.
Yep - it would definitely be a coke and rum night for me if I were in your shoes!

Rum and coke? I think I'd be at whiskey straight from the bottle...

@crzycatlady1 I admire how calm you seem!!!

Oh I'm a nervous wreck right now lol. She's here right now loading her car and I'm watching her on a security monitor feed, utterly surreal! She trashed the house too before she left-dog poo smeared on the floor, cleaning supplies and water dumped on the floor; she threw a rock through a stain glass window, took off all the inside door knobs, removed all the light bulbs etc etc. And this wasn't even a foreclosure situation-she was selling a house and we bought it-crazy!

I'm binge drinking diet soda right now and eating potato chips, that's breakfast and lunch :p

I am taking a couple days off because my appetite is super high and my wii u and wii u fit will be here by Wednesday. Then I will be exercising daily. ^_^

I need to get my Xbox Kinect back in order.

What do you like to do on Kinect? I have one, but no idea how to make use of it fitness-wise.

I Zumba! :D I use that too but not as much anymore because my daughter wants to play with me and it bugs me that it doens't work well with 2 people so I often let her play her game by herself (Nickelodeon Dance).

My in-laws are having pity on us and bringing rotisserie chickens and sides for supper tonight, so I will have actual food (haven't had time to get groceries since we've moved). The rum and coke will be dessert :D

I just started getting back to the gym after a year away, and I went to the grocery store today and saw those little Reese's eggs for Easter. Today, the resistance was strong. But, good to know others find a balance =)

This is for @fitoverfortymom and anyone else who wants it!

Tante Alicia's Chicken casserole - tweaked

Meat of 1 rotisserie chicken shredded/broken up (no skin)
2 cans 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
    1 chopped bell pepper
1 finely chopped onion (or green onions are fine too)
1 small can mild green chillies
    8 oz sour cream
8 oz 0% plain Greek yogurt
6 oz reduced fat shredded cheese - such as cheddar, Mexican blend, colby, etc.
Unsalted tortilla chips (I found unsalted at Whole Foods)

Mix everything except the chips in a large bowl. In a casserole dish, make a layer of chips, about 1/2 of the chicken mix, another chip layer, remaining chicken mixture, and then a layer of tortilla chips on top (you can certainly make more layers; this is the best way if you're trying to minimize the chip usage). Bake in a 350 F oven about 30 - 40 mins until everything is hot and melty

How you divide it is up to you; I made it as 6 servings and those were really big and thick because I used a smaller but deeper casserole dish lol. Came out at 545 cals per serving (totally acceptable for a dinner), 37g carbs, 24g fat, 46g protein :)

EDITED: forgot about the can of green chills!! Aaahh!

I just saw a commercial for a baby big mac. I am thinking i have to try that soon.

I take that back. It is 460 calories. It is not much less than a regular big mac. If I want a burger and going to spend the calories I may as well go somewhere that serves a good burger.

I ate the Grand Mac... 800ish cals. I do wut I want.

So do I but the last time I ate a big mac it was not as good as I remembered. It was way too salty for my tastes. But Im glad you enjoyed yours.

    KFC super crunch for supper!

Also, this weekend, we celebrated my brother in laws and his wife's birthday. I make cake for everyone's birthday.

Brother in law got a lime cheesecake and sister in law got red velvet cake with cheesecake in the middle (cheesecake was coated in magic shell). Cake was iced with a brown sugar cream cheese frosting.

Neither of them said thank you. Typical. I worked hard on those cakes. My husband asked sil if she was able to make me caramel macarons for my birthday, and her response was "oh hell no" and went on to complain about how hard they are. :(
My daughter make a similar red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and filling a while back. It was a multi layer, sculpted cake and she asked me to be a taste tester. omg I almost didn't make it through that lol.

We had Chinese take out tonight. Just...awesome. :) And I'm still slowly losing weight :)

Since they don't appreciate it can I appreciate it from afar? Those cakes sound to die for.

Since the Super Bowl I've been minding my P's and Q's. Valentine's Day is coming and we're going to a fancy dinner (and I will eat all the chocolates I have been avoiding in the store every single time I go) so in order to still lose weight one must make sacrifices...sigh.

I will just live vicariously through y'all until after next week when I can resume my normal scheduled programming and not have to "bank" calories.

I ate very unclean to lose all my weight because I didn't need the added stress of eliminating all my favorite foods. Now that I'm maintaining I'm tightening up things but I'll never just give up all processed foods, it's just about eating less of them. Anyway, I've been active on MFP for 500+ days straight so feel free to add.

    Ooooooh bringing on the controversy!!!

Lol Well it's none of their business. So they can go ahead and complain to themselves. Reasons my diary is now private!

Seem you are trying to calm the wave of negativity by in turn throwing it back as loudly at them. I dunno....Yelling at someone telling them not to yell never seems to work. But I think the thread will fill your intentions.

Like the punk girls above said...diet agnostic for me. I don't care what you want to do, but don't go preaching "the only way..." sermon to me.

    Cheers.
