I went to Starbucks and only got a coffee (black) even though I really wanted to carb load on all the delicious goodness behind the bakery case26

I just bought a target shirt in a size large! I always have to get XL or Xxl! Not ever again!

I brought my sibs chips n didn't have but yesterday the box was just sitting at the table walked by it a few times thought it was empty. On this last trip decided to throw it out but there were a few crumbs in it n my wrist fit all the way without tipping it. I cud have punched out the bottom. Lol I got excited n wore that sleeve around the house for a while. I haven't been able to see my loss so far so I guess I'm gonna take every crumb I can get lol...8

It was cold. Very cold.
It was windy. Very windy.
The wind made it colder. Much colder, we are talking sub-zero temperatures which we just aren't used to in Southern England.
It snowed.
I cycled (but not for long as I was completely frozen after 30 minutes).
But I'll be going out again later as it looks like it might be warmer (and the snow has stopped for now).23 -
31 days tracking CICO and exercise on MFP.27

I can get into clothes I haven't worn in 3 years! I dug them out of storage a few days ago to see how much more I'd need to lose to finally be that size again, and almost passed out from happiness when I tried them on. Now I'm only about a size away from my goal.30

I completed week 2 day 2 of C25K and was able to jog a bit more afterwards with my wife.26

This week I saw a colleague I hadn't seen in 4 or 5 years (or more). We had a brief conversation on Monday but yesterday when I ran into him again I found out that he didn't know who he was talking to the other day and didn't realize who I was yesterday until he heard someone else say my name. I love a good jaw drop.25

I recently passed my one-year point on MFP, and was able to stay on plan through vacations, work-related travel, and the holiday season. However, last week, I think I subconsciously rebelled and I had an entire week of IDGAF. My NSV is that I didn't let that derail me, and I've been back on plan this week with renewed enthusiasm. I think I needed the break.41

We were in the supermarket earlier; I usually go through towards the end of the checkout to pack the shopping scanned whilst my husband finishes unpacking the trolley onto the conveyor belt. He then pushes the trolley through to the very end to put the shopping bags back into it whilst I carry on packing the shopping.
I usually stand to one side of the end part, so I'm partially blocking the narrow aisle between checkouts. On every occasion that I can ever remember, bearing in mind that I've been with my husband for 29 years now, I have had to move to the very end of the checkout so that the trolley can get past me.
Not this time. My husband pushed the trolley past me without my having to move, breathe in, squeeze up against the checkout or anything to make myself smaller. I was like "Huh? What happened there? Did the trolleys get smaller? Did the aisles get wider?" My husband reassured me that nothing had happened except that I've gotten smaller.
Result!
Another skill to relearn - spatial awareness. I'm always looking at a gap thinking "I'm never going to fit through that tiny space" only to find that I can. And do. This is probably an extension of the "Although I know I've lost lots of weight, I still see myself as humongous" brain trick.40 -
SO ... even though my "scale" victories have not been amazing....My NSV's are great. I have logged in 10 days in a row AND I have upped my exercise considerably. I was finding it difficult to get myself motivated, but thanks to MFP and my trusty FitBit, things are looking better!24

I finished C25K today!47

Just for the heck of it, I tried on a pair of size 32 jeans and they actually fit. It was a pretty nice feeling and not bad for a guy who was 320 pounds in July.48

I lost 3lbs so far.28

I can totally relate!!! Why oh why are the check-out aisles so darn narrow?
By the way, are you from the UK? asking because I haven't heard them called trolleys before In my neck of the woods (New England) we call them shopping carts, and some (older) people call them carriages.11 -

And in the south, we call them buggies17 -

K. Now your ticking me off. I was 320 in Sept and still wearing 44's. How much have you lost since July?
(kidding about the ticking me off part, congrats on the loss).12 -

A while ago I came out of the gym to see that someone had rudely parked too close to my car. I was a little annoyed because generally speaking, people's cars are dirty from the road slush (mine included) this time of year so when you have to squeeze between vehicles your coat and any bags you're carrying always get dirty. But guess what? I didn't have to squeeze. In fact, neither my coat nor gym bag touched either vehicle AND I was able to open the car door without bumping said inconsiderate parker's vehicle. Apparently he wasn't an inconsiderate parker after all. I guess we lived in these large bodies for so long that we just unconsciously made decisions every day that adjusted for our size. Isn't this an amazing journey????39 -
Finished a 12 mile trail run (more like a slow jog) after having taken a long break. Haven't done more than a 5k in several months. I thought I wouldn't be able to go the distance, but I guess I've still got it. I'm super sore and a bit slower than I used to be, but I can still get it done. Now I have to work back up to my former pace. Yay!27

Thank you! As of this morning, I have lost 122 pounds. I have also been doing a lot of weight lifting and cardio.16 -

Yes, I'm in the UK - England. Carriages are for horses and buggies are for toddlers here18 -
I set a new personal record for weekly mileage...more than 70 miles this week!29

I went to the grocery store today. When I got to the checkout the cashier said "hi handsome". I looked behind me to see who she was talking to. There was nobody there.53

I used to put heaps of salt on everything I ate. Today I ate eggs without salt which means that the only food left that I have to put it on is tomatoes! I'm no longer a salt-a-holic30

Coworkers have definitely been noticing my physical changes, and i feel lighter on my feet lol27

I went shopping today for something to wear for a fancy night out.
I checked all my regular shops, but couldn't find anything I liked. There are a few stores that I never go into because I feel like I'm too fat to wear any of the clothes or shop in there. I always feel like the other women will give me dirty looks like what is she doing in here. It's silly. Even when I was smaller I didn't feel comfortable enough to go in.
Well finally after double checking all the usual stores I decided to brave one of the "I'm too fat to shop in here stores". Found a lovely dress I liked on sale and bought it in a size 10.
Loving my life these days.38 -
Three people asked me if I lost weight this week. It was fantastic. The last time I was this weight was April 2013, so a long time ago!25

Congrats! I just finished Week 5 Day 3 today - 20 mins nonstop jogging. Really slow, but I made it.

I was looking for something to wear to work the other day and thought, where are all my clothes?!?! No way I can only have 2 pair of slacks that fit me! I saw a pair of my cargo type slacks that were pushed back to the end of the closet and just dismissed them before thinking, "wait a minute! I haven't even attempted them since I lost nearly 20 pounds; maybe they'll fit. Or at least come close." I put them on and they fit!! And not even tight making a muffin top! They fit great!! I am so happy! Of course that means I'm gonna have to break down and go through all my clothes and purge. :-/
But, hey! They fit!! And that means I have at least 4 MORE pair of slacks! Just gotta dig em out.29
