HOWEVER, it all be damned because my boyfriend's birthday is tomorrow, Valentine's day is Tuesday so we are probably going out Monday night (I have school Wednesday morning, so Tuesday night wouldn't be convenient). I have medical testing Thursday so I can't eat anything Wednesday so I figure wthell I may as well enjoy myself! Oh! & I just got a wii u fit Fun!
I hope everything goes well with your testing.

I enjoy potato chips, but have to keep them away from the house so that I don't gain fifty pounds:/2

Yesterday I was on a roadtrip, so it was gas station snacks for breakfast and then dinner at a local brewery. An AMAZING beer and a mushroom burger with sweet potato fries. Now trying to convince my husband he wants waffles. I count macros but I usually don't bother on weekends.5

I have been doing that! I gave up the last week or so and I decided Im eating at maintanance or w.e. I feel like as long as its around 2000 not too much more. I have testing on the 16th which mean fasting on the 15th so Ill try to go back to dieting after. Fasting actually helps my appetite go down usually? so maybe it will help! At least Im not gaining. lol2 -

I know it's a weird suggestion but if you have anyone who can help hide them for your or something maybe buy single serving bags (the small ones that used to be a quarter?) or separate a big bag into baggies and serving sizes. Then have someone put them somewhere and not tell you and only give you a serving every other day or every day etc whatever works. Just an idea! Thats what I did. Fellow chip addict here lol4 -

Isn't that basically what zoos do for animals to get them explore to search for food in the enclosure?6 -

Lol! I have no idea but I guess I'd get exercise running around searching if I ever badly wanted something that was hidden. So it's a win win situation lol6 -
I made an awesome salad for supper tonight-large bowl, (like mixing size lol), with spinach, mushrooms, mini sweet peppers, 3 servings worth of diced bacon, low calorie Italian dressing and then chili cheese Fritos, all mixed together It was epic!7

I picked up a chocolate mousse cake and chocolate lava cakes at Trader Joe's today. They were sampling, and hey, Tuesday's Valentine's Day, right? Or in my world, Excuse To Eat Even More Chocolate Than I Usually Do Day.4

I'll have my husband hide things from me if I don't think I can control myself around them - if I have to go and meekly ask him for a treat, I'll think twice about how much I really want it!
A caution about separating chips into portions though - I've found that if you take them out of the original bag and put them into little plastic baggies, they seem to get stale quite quickly. I can have a bag of chips and weigh out a portion into a bowl now and again, and seal the bag with one of those clip things, and the rest will stay good for a couple of weeks or more. But if I bag up individual portions so I can "grab and go", they'll start tasting odd after maybe three days.
If you like Pringles, the 100-calorie snack packs are great! I can't be trusted with a whole tube, I will keep going back for more even if I put them out of sight. But those little packs are fine, once they're finished I don't feel the need to look for more. It must be a psychological thing to do with the container being empty.6 -

It's the day we get to express our undying love for chocolate!4 -
Wow who are these demented people going around commenting on other people's food diaries?!!? Mind your own damn business peeps.
Unless someone asks for comment on their diary, keep your opinions to yourself.
I'm a person who appreciates the 'clean' but mixes it up with some filth from time to time. And that's my damn decision.4 -
I try to eat healthy (ish, I'm really fussy/picky!) during the week, but I'm definetly a weekend sinner. I just love chocolate and cooking gravy dinners e.t.c. Feel free to add me, I don't believe in judging people, I only ever judge myself XD1

Made this last night for dinner, I used chicken breast instead (cause dark meat is gross) and I wanted to share it with y'all. It's not proper crispy fried bright neon orange chicken, but if you're trying to watch some calories I thought the flavor was good enough that it could satisfy a Chinese craving for a while ❤️3 -
So.....went to Jungle Jim's on Saturday. Let's just say about 90% of the cart was sweets and carbs. I also got some caputo flour to make my homemade pizzas with, excited to see if there is a major difference between that and bread flour (what I usually use). We also indulged in some BBQ at Montgomery Inn.
It was a good weekend.5 -
IIFYM is my mantra. Pizza, burgers, donuts, Oreos, bring it on! Of course I also eat tons of baked chicken, rice and broccoli, and 99 times out of 100 I'll be under calories for the day, but some days just require living a little, ya know?7

I love y'all. One of the biggest things I can't stand is referring to food as "clean." The only time food is "clean" is if I washed it! I eat a lot of fruits and veggies and other stereotypically healthy things most of the time, but I will tell anyone who cares to listen that I also eat chocolate every. Freaking. Day.6

maybe re-think your position on foods as they are not "clean" or "filth" they are just food with different macros and different nutritional profiles..3 -

That's why I buy a box of the little bags. They last a while if I don't eat them. And I've been pretty good about not having one every day.

I LOVE Buffalo Wild Wings! I don't eat meat, but their nachos are life....and their southwestern ranch.....I could drink it! lol.
I'm a 100% wild meat eater & hope we can still be friends...lol

I build it in to my day, a mix of processed and fresh foods. Love some pre-made coffee sachet, dessert, ice creams, dressing, store bought quiche and wings etc. But combine it with a healthy breakfast and decent lunch and dinner it can still balance. I would rather balance and keep moving forward then restrict and binge.2

Eating clean is overrated. It's good to make as many healthy choices as possible but exercise and portion control are really all you need. Here are some links about how eating clean is bullcrap:

That's not to say eating clean and ultra healthy is necessarily bad. By all means, eat veggies and fruits and whole grains and all that jazz. But there's also nothing wrong with junk food now and then or some fast food. As long as you watch your portions, calories, and exercise.
Exercise is the most important thing as it works your body all over and most importantly your heart.
Your body is capable of amazing things and regulating itself. Treat it the best you can but it's okay to treat your mind, too, and satisfy those junky cravings.3 -
i pretty much eat what i want within reason. i think you just have to know that whatever you consume over your limit is what you need to burn off. so my 1200 calories a day can easily be consumed by lunch time. but i got to the gym before i go home so if i burn 500 calories at the gym, i know i have 700 calories left for dinner and i try no to eat dinner after 7pm. this system works well for me. i lost 2 lbs in almost 2 weeks.1

my favorite snack now is either red grapes and cheese or special k 100 calorie chocolate covered pretzels

Feel free to add me. I try to eat somewhat healthy, but with 2 kids in sports, its usually whatever fits into my calories. We have a busy life, so McDonald's and subway happens more often than not!2
