Flavoured lube- I know it isn't food, but I don't need sex to taste like oily strawberries mmkay?

    offtopic break

one of the guys i lift with is this never-knew-a-closet, oversharey gay guy. he 'shared' recently that he and his husband had once had the displeasure of receiving bacon-flavoured lube as a gift.

our trainer is pretty prudish about people sharing actual nitty-gritty personal details about their intimate lives, but he lay down on his own bench and couldn't get up for laughing when he heard about that.

    /back to regular programming.

Brings a new meaning to the phrase "pulled pork". :open_mouth:

i'm prudish too, so i didn't even bring up the neighbourhood-dogs-aftermath factor. go me.

Got a new one as of yesterday....almond milk.
I thought I'd try some in my coffee. Not only did I get very ill, it left a weird film on the inside of my mouth that I couldn't get rid of. At least I got my steps in running to and from the bathroom all afternoon.

I will also add that I hate A1 sauce. No idea why anyone, my husband and daughter included, ruin awesome steaks with that nasty sauce

Quinoa, kale (raw and as "chips"), chia seeds, nutritional yeast, and Arctic Zero.

And I like both cauliflower "rice" and regular cauliflower, so I would say to give the riced stuff a try. If you don't like it, you are not out too much money.

Settle down and get comfy, everyone.

    1) Coconut water (the kids liked it though, which led me to wonder if they might have been bodysnatched),
    natural peanut butter,

2)barleygrass powder (I bought a bag of this in January 2016 and I've still not used it all up- the only way to disguise the foul taste is in mince pies. Nothing else is strong enough),

    3) Natural peanut butter,

    4) a "raw pressed fruit" drink containing cucumber, and other substances, which I bought because I was thirsty and it was 0.50, reduced from 4.99. I thought that if it had been that price originally, it couldn't possibly be as unappetising as it sounded from the ingredients. I was wrong: it was worse.

PB2, quest bars, quest protien chips :s

PB2 is not very good on its own. I add it to my protein shakes to give a little extra flavor.

When I added it to my protein shake, I almost threw up and had to throw the whole thing out. I was so pissed.

Grapefruit slim discs - I tried them when I was a dieting teen - supposed to be appetite suppressants - didn't need to lose weight back then but desperate to be skinny! They tasted like chalk and didn't even help me lose weight!

Am I the only one out here that actually likes Quest bars? lol For me it was Advocare's Post Workout Recovery Shake. I don't know what it was about it but I HATED the taste.

No you're not--I had read about so many people loving them that I had to try them. I tried the cookie dough one because I usually love that flavor of bars in general. At first I liked it, but about a minute later the fake sugar (or stevia maybe?) flavor came back to bite me in the *kitten*. I tossed the rest out!

ETA: Or maybe it was the Cookies n cream flavor? Anyway I tried two different ones, and just, noooo.

Sparkling water, flavored or not. My husband is from Italy and has somehow hooked my kids on it. I'm the only one in our family that hates it. I guess it's better for them than soda

Blue Apron, which usually has some pretty good meals, had one a few weeks back: pasta with sunchokes and kale. Couldn't eat even half of it, which is too bad, because the sauce was pretty good.

I actually wondered about this when I saw people talking about frozen "pre-riced" cauliflower--thinking that it would be horrifyingly mushy/soggy. I make my own, although it's a pain in the rear and makes a huge mess, and it's not soggy or watery or anything like that (I actually quite like it!)

On topic: Dymatize (I think that's how they spell it?) Cookies'N'Cream protein powder was the worst thing I've ever tasted. It tasted like rancid milk to me, I almost puked. And I had a two-pound container of the stuff, too! Ugh.

Herbalife shakes.. Tried a few flavours when I first started my journey and believed it was a good source of nutrition (now I know better thank god).
Herbalife tea - that *kitten* just aint right
I will forever stay away from Herbalife after that get together and tasting all that bad *kitten* the sales persons offered us to try.

    Nutriforce - Belgian Chocolate
There's nothing in that that reminds me of Belgian chocolate and the chocolate chips with the protein powder inside it makes me gag.. seriously? That's disgusting ( I like the vanilla from nutriforce though)

    Rice protein
Just no.. stop already.. just make healthy supplements good please... I can't even stand the smell of rice protein...
