. . .greek yogurt just tastes like spackle to me. and now that i know it's just yogurt without the whey i can't see the point either. to me it makes no sense to pay three times as much for something that doesn't have the very thing i'm also buying to add to my shakes in a powder format.
You probably know this, but just in case some others don't:
Greek yogurt has the liquid component of the whey removed, but (true) Greek yogurt has substantially higher protein than normal yogurt. Whey protein powder also has the liquid component of the whey removed, to retain the protein component in a dried form.
Both Greek yogurt and whey protein powder (or other products) are high protein foods. Of course taste is a good reason to dislike one, and prefer the other.
I now return you to your regularly-scheduled thread.
Obligatory on-topic remark: 90% of the fake meat products I've tried, I found disgusting. Especially TVP "ham" chunks they used to put in casseroles in my college dorm. Yuck. I never liked meat in the first place, though - part of why I went vegetarian.7 -
I love idealshape products but I tried th3 cookies and cream meal replacement shake and after gagging one down gave it away with the disclaimer try it and throw it out if you don't like it.
Greek yogurt, I hate greek yogurt!
Mayo made with olive oil it taste and feels oily.0 -

Coconut water. It tasted how I imagine a mixture of sweat and vomit would taste.
Yep. Coconut water is one of the foulest things I have ever tasted!

Coconut water, shirataki, most protein powders, seaweed snacks, soy cheese & seitan (did not know what I was eating, lol), sugar free Swiss Miss, and Trop Light (just add water to a splash of juice and pay 5$!).2

Some protein bar with crazy protein grams that used seaweed as a base - I can't get the taste out of my mind :-(0 -

I tried Halo Top Cookies/Cream and it tasted like chemicals. Maybe other flavors are good, but not that one. I'll stick to a tiny bit of the real thing.1 -

They've probably improved since I tried them more than a decade ago, but PowerBars used to be the worst. Here's a copy of a popular top ten list for them back in the day. Thank goodness for Clif.
Top ten ways to tell a PowerBar from a dog turd:- Power Bars cost $1.69. Dog turds are free.
- Power Bars have shiny wrappers. Dog turds don't.
- A fly will eat a dog turd. I've never seen a fly eat a Power Bar.
- Dog turds get slippery when wet.
- Power Bars come in 5 delicious flavors. Dog turds only come in 1.
- Power Bars hold their shape in a jersey pocket much better than dog turds.
- Dog turds won't damage a lawn mower blade. The jury is still out on Power Bars.
- You won't find a Power Bar sitting on the ground in the park.
- Dog turds are made of naturally occurring substances.
- Dog turds are biodegradeable.

I had this exact experience this morning. I was disappointed - I've liked several of their other flavors really well and was excited when I stumbled across this one. Nope. Nope, nope, nope.0
