J4T Thursday
1. Stick to 1200 calories
2. Stay under 100 carbs
3. Hold it together as I deal with my troubled teenage daughter
4. Do house work.
I had a great day last Thursday and started Friday off great. I was able to do some deep cleaning in my house, which I have not been able to do in months because of my low energy level. It sure feels great to be getting back to normal.
Then I slacked off a bit over the weekend...
But, did great on Monday (Zumba) and Tuesday!
J4T Wednesday
1. Get my lazy buns up in time to go to Zumba
2. Grocery shopping and prep veggies
3. Take kids to youth group
4. Stick to 1200 calories
5. Stay under 100 carbs

Hey bri, are you over or under active? It's hell getting it right!
When I get pregnant mine goes haywire and then takes a while to settle post pregnancy!
Glad to hear you're on the right track x
It's great to meet you Bex!
I have low thyroid. Not fun, but I'm trying to get it figured out.1 -

I have been in a dark place lately and have not been doing any of the things I know I should be doing. Why do I sabotage myself? I know I feel better without sugar in my diet, and that lots of water makes me feel better. I know that journaling helps me keep a positive attitude. So, why have I spent the last week eating Girl Scout cookies and shoving crappy food in my mouth...not drinking water or journaling? UGH.
I have to pull myself together beginning today. So I'm going to keep it simple.
Hey, have you been peeking at my life.....?
Don't give up! You can do it!2 -
So many people here with colds. I'm so sorry and hope you will all feel better quickly!
Gee, I hope nobody sneezed on their posts! Then we would all be sick!
It's great to see lots of friends from the past AND lots of new friends!
Have a great day on Wednesday!

Bri: Thank you for your support! It's been just terrible lately. I'm usually pretty upbeat person so this is really getting old..
@linnea4: "Do not sing out loud at work" This made me laugh out loud at work and almost spit my coffee all over my desk! I have done this when wearing earbuds and listening to music without realizing it. OMG, my voice just sucks too! hahaha!
I was sitting through a trial on a jury for the last few days, so I have really not been on here or doing well. We are locked in a room and can't go get anything to eat, and they bring us donuts...you can fill in the blanks from there I'm sure! UGH.
So, tomorrow is a new start. I'm leaving work right now so I will post my goals for tomorrow when I get home.
Just wanted to pop in and say hello and that I'm thinking of you all and hoping everyone is hanging in there!

In March I will:
1. Look at stressors and determine what I can change, how I can change it and how to accept what can't be changed.
2. Separate the reality of situation from my "story" of situation. Look at facts, not perception
Have a great day everyone!!!4 -

Wednesday:
Do not sing out loud at work - I whistled, does that count?

Aim for the target - Success - only 50 under
Resist the urge to say screw it - Success - I kept getting tempted by restaurants, but went home and had what I planned to have.

Go watch Logan with the kids tonight (assuming one does not get called into work and the other decides against spending another entire day on the couch playing Breath of the Wild)
Record everything
Eat out if the timing is right

Do not crow too much about the raise I just received at work. (and find out how much was due to position change and how much was actual raise)5 -

Ha. Yeah, I'm fortunate, the closest people are a few desks away, so I probably wouldn't bother too many people, since I would do it quietly if at all, but people do walk up on occasion, and they don't need to hear me singing about how my friends are heathens...OConnell5483 wrote: »I was sitting through a trial on a jury for the last few days, so I have really not been on here or doing well. Yeah, my most recent jury duty they let us out to get lunch, I walked to McDonald's (about a mile and a half round trip) and got a salad. No donuts (but they had vending machines...)
It'll get better.3 -

1. Get my lazy buns up in time to go to Zumba
2. Grocery shopping and prep veggies
3. Take kids to youth group
4. Stick to 1200 calories
5. Stay under 100 carbs
Had a good day yesterday. I actually did everything I set out to do!
I did Zumba on Monday night and kicked butt. I didn't work out at all on Tuesday. Then I did Zumba on Wednesday morning and was disappointed because I was completely wiped out after the 2nd song!
But I did it! But today, no Zumba! But, maybe I will take an easy walk in the afternoon.
J4T Thursday
1. House work
2. Go through old photos with my oldest daughter
3. Take mom for a pedicure
4. Maybe take a 15 minutes walk
5. Stick to 1200 calories and 100 carbs

Ahhh.....a working washing machine....it's the little things that make life wonderful....
One positive thing about having a broken washing machine is...you really learn to enjoy doing the laundry when you get a new one!3 -
Yesterday W 3/8/17 - a busy day with Inquiry portion of work project in morning, project write-ups to complete, late afternoon board meeting, happy hour with former colleagues, and Lenten service at church
1) Walk at least 25 flights of stairs - Yes, no idea how I managed this but 46 flights
2) Limit myself to one drink at happy hour; research menu online before going and aim for healthy(ish) option - Yes, had only 1 pint of beer and looked online for menu but big FAIL for the day...meeting place was boutique-type food, no menu online due to constant changing to use locally-sourced food (which I love) but the menu I saw had one item from a local source. I wondered where the mussels and crab cakes were sourced from, definitely not Green Bay WI. Anyway, the menu was very limited, very pricey and not too healthy. So I shared one person's fish taco order and ate leftovers when I finally got home after church at 8:15. But near bedtime, tired and still hungry, I binged on dry roasted peanuts directly from the jar, which is not a good thing. I estimated the portion after, and logged, but I had total calorie fail. And I only drank 7 glasses of water.
Ok, I'm done "venting my spleen" now, as one friend reminds me.
At least we had more show up this month, and had lots of fun catching up with each other. Thursday will be better.
3) Floss...keep it going! No
4) Bedtime by 10:30 with TV off...clearly this is not a given with me - No 10:35
Start over just for today R 3/9/17
1) Drink 10 glasses of water
2) Participate in lunchtime spring hike on trails around my work building
3) Meditate in afternoon...this has been slipping again
4) Floss
5) Bedtime by 10:30 with TV off4 -
Joining in on random March 9!
Just For Today:
1. Exercise 3x (1 time down already, planning a 3-mile run and 20 minutes on the bike during my lunch!)
2. Keep under my calorie goal; a challenge, since I'm going to a show tonight where they'll be serving snacks and alcohol. Usually the money is enough to deter me, but sometimes I get real indulgent and just say TO HELL WITH IT. One beer, Becky. One beer is all you get.
3. Drink 92oz of water.
See you tomorrow!5
