Luckily I have 21 hens, a rooster, and 4 brooding hens. A virtual unlimited supply of fresh eggs.

Did you take anything away from any of the other comments? The ones suggesting this is unnecessary and that if you are struggling to lose, maybe some focus on your calories and logging habits would be more beneficial than an extremely restrictive short term approach? I'm pretty sure even a lot of the low carbers also said they didn't take this extreme approach and that it's ultimately calorie deficit that drives your weight loss...

Agreed. Non low carbers do try to help by offering suggestions and tips, explaining that a true plateau is almost 2 months of absolutely no loss, and that there is no reason to go to extremes... we show them the science and math. We do try.

I've noticed a few low carbers were against this egg fast, too, or any extreme diet. No need to be extreme. We all know how that goes (Wormhole x-treme, anyone?)

I keep wondering when they're going to bring that show back for episode 101. That episode when Grell the Robot made an omelette for Colonel Danning....classic!

I'm not even sure what that is, but why do it? In all honesty if a fad is something you dont want to do for the rest of your life, don't start it. It's better and smarter to figure out a meal plan that you like, you feel good with, and that has the calorie level you want. That's the sort of thing that will help you melt the weight right off.

I have been on a egg fast for four days now and I think I;m going yo do it on the weekends of every week . Would that be ok to do?

Okay from a health aspect? Probably, but it really depends on your medical history/genetics and what you eat on the other 5 days of the week. If you are eating healthily on the other 5 days and you aren't one of the people for whom dietary cholesterol has a significant impact on cholesterol levels then it's probably not going to cause health problems.

Yeah, me too! I'd much prefer the fruit and veggie challenge, although perhaps not as filling as the egg/fat thing.
