@7lenny7 - Awesome race. All that elevation change, and you just went out and ran it. That's a testament to how well conditioned you are and how good your training has been going.

@7lenny7 - That race sounds really fun! Plus, your son taking up an interest in running...win! Even now, I love when my 11 year old twins want to run with me.

Colder than I wanted it to be today - it's amazing how quickly we get used to a bit warmer temps and can't handle what previously seemed warm! Took my wonder terrier Stella out for the run tonight because not enough time to do both our walk and a run. She was game for most of it, but lots of pace changes and some stops and starts. Oh well, we both got some exercise.

@7lenny7 very cool race and great report!

@WhatMeRunning I feel terrible for all involved in the dog incident. I hope the woman and her little dog are okay. What a nightmare. Good for you for running in and helping.

    Hi guys,

My hip still hurts. I rested it yesterday and tried walking today. It felt stiff but didn't hurt too much when I walked. But after sitting for a while it starts to hurt again. I'm really bummed that this is going on. I want to run, but I have too much pain. I don't want to go to the doctor because I have enough going on right now. But if it doesn't get better in a few days I may have to.

Meanwhile I can't run and it's making me crazy, and all the run posts on here are making me envious. I'll give it through the weekend to rest and evaluate then. Blah.

I had to take a mandatory week off. Something wasn't right with my right leg. Took that time to work on my yoga.

Still struggling with my knee, wore the brace again today and it was overall a slow average pace though I tried to do some speed work. A few fast point with some walking in between.

Working out of town kept me away from getting in my Wednesday evening group run.
Will be heading out in 10 minutes.

Pulled the Trigger on the Emperor's Challenge this morning. Promises to be interesting/fun/ >:) . A great selection of pictures at the bottom of the linked page showing the interesting parts :) of the course. One thing they missed was the huge Windmill Farm on an adjacent mountain. You will notice that most of the people have Orange Topped items in their hands - Spray Paint for refreshing the Trail Marking stakes. Some more Photo's
