91.3 out of 95 miles - 96% of goal! Big surprise that I almost made it, given the first part of the month. Today's run I just took it easy and did a loop around a couple of neighborhoods, solely to finish out the month over 90 miles. :) It was nice and cool, perfect weather for running here too.

I haven't worked out my May goal yet but I will catch up on that thread and set a goal tomorrow. Congratulations to everyone who made their April goals.

Anyway, sorry for complaining. I hope everyone's doing good. Nice races Lenny, Sto, RFB, Moby and anyone I forgot. Good luck tomorrow Fred!

@JessicaMcB The face you're making is the one I made when I saw the forecast for when I'm supposed to be running in the morning. You still got some KM in though, and that's what matters! Great running!

Had a super busy weekend. It was supposed to rain with the threat of bad storms all day yesterday. After my son's 2 soccer games yesterday, I squeezed in 6 miles, and was hoping it would rain on me, but nope...hot and windy. Got ready to go to the FC Dallas game as soon as I finished my run. Had a great time tailgating before the game, but as soon as we got in, it started pouring!! I brought ponchos with thank goodness, but we left at half-time since we were all cold.

Had a great 12 mile run in that I had no aches or pains in my left leg. It was even windier than yesterday though. 22 mph sustained winds and gusts up to 35 to 40 mph. It was nice when the wind was at my back, but I was getting blown around at times.

Didn't meet my goal, but I'm glad my left leg is feeling better. Hopefully I'll meet next month's goal.

@Stoshew71 I know you were really hoping to BQ, and I'm so sorry the weather didn't cooperate. Humidity and heat combined are the worst. You still had a great race, and I hope you keep trying for that BQ. You are an awesome runner and an inspiration to many of us. You'll get it!!

@ddmom0811 I do eat local honey, and now that I think of it, that may be why I suffer so much less from allergies than I used to. My husband came home with "organic" honey once, but it was from Brazil. I gave him the spiel about how we need to local honey.

I'm actually feeling a lot better, even though we've still had high winds and pollen warnings. Years ago, I would have gotten full on sick with these conditions.

Cold, dreary day to end April but such a pretty metal to make up for it. Improved my 5k time by about one minute so I was happy given the conditions. I couldn't breathe near the end thanks to my asthma but I was okay soon after. I loved the energy. My only complaint is all the walkers wanted to be at the front of the 5k corral. I guess my mom said I was being a humble runner starting near the back, but I spent the entire run weaving and passing hundreds of walkers. Other than that, I'm ready for registration to open for next year :)

We ran the half last year. Best race I've ever run! Unfortunately the walkers often do think er do not think about staging in 5ks.

We had 40+mph gusts here today. Nice that okc wasn't blown away today

    Congratulations on the swag!

I got out this morning for a short run before heading off to the agility trial. We found a (steep) trail along the way and decided it looked more inviting than the road we were running with no real shoulders or sidewalks. Ends up the trail took us up to Presidio Park that we ran all over and then got directions back down and around to the hotel. Unfortunately MMR failed and I kept forgetting to restart my watch. I think it was about 4 miles so I am going with 4.23 which puts me at goal :)

Thanks @Stoshew71! Great job on your race too despite the conditions! Our weather was going crazy yesterday, cold and rainy, sunny and cool, then back to freezing and rainy. I was praying it wouldn't warm up until I was done running because I knew it'd get steamy outside.

Congrats @hesfeld and @kimlight2 on your races!

Congrats to all who made their goals or at least feel good about where they are! See you in May! (even though it is May)

Late checking in but I made my monthly goal and unlike most of the country we had beautiful weather. Got my last few miles out of the way on the trail near the house.
