For guys who are in their 30s or up, what advice would you give us younger guys (late teens to 20s) when it comes to life (education, women, money, having fun, etc) in general. I'm pretty curious about this and would like to hear different opinions.

treat each woman with respect and as an individual. you know, kinda like you'd want to be treated. never lump all women into one "they are just seeking attention" type of group.

Don't address people in their 30's as "older"...25

You won't always get a trophy because 99% of the time you don't deserve it!12

As an older woman I can tell you that...NV.
Good luck3 -

B-b-but....you are older than me....4 -
Biggest thing for me was establish quality habits early on and they've stuck with me...on the flip side, so have the bad habits, they stick with you. The "younger" generation, to me it seems like the only way I recognize them is with a phone in front of their face. So my second piece of advice: Put the phone down and enjoy what's in front of you.7

No. "I'm more experienced". My mental age is even younger than you...Now please excuse me whilst I try to find my zimmer frame...DasItMan91 wrote: »Broomstick_Boo wrote: »Don't address people in their 30's as "older"...

I like hanging around with younger people and find that most of them can barely keep up3

Also be READY to tie the knot and have kids if that's your intention. Don't just THINK that's what you want. Make sure you're ready for that commitment. If there's any hesitation, you may not be ready.

so like, don't ever be one of those guys who tells another person how he should drink his whiskey or his beer or that his taste in wine is terrible. the right drink is the one you enjoy you know?
that's just an example i guess, but a lot of guys are like that, and it is okay to think those things, but being the guy who speaks on it out loud, to tear down someone else to make yourself look better, it's just a bad look.
I agree, unless you're drinking really crappy beer.1 -
Find what you love and make a career out of it. I know it's cliche, but that doesn't make it less true.10

The past is a memory, the future a dream so live in the present moment. Smile and practice gratitude every day.
And that's advice from a real old guy.13 -

To quote Bill Bullard and words to live by...
“Opinion is really the lowest form of human knowledge. It requires no accountability, no understanding. The highest form of knowledge… is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another’s world. It requires profound purpose larger than the self kind of understanding.”

And another quote on opinions....
I have had so many conversations or email exchanges with students in the last few years wherein I anger them by indicating that simply saying, "This is my opinion" does not preclude a connected statement from being dead wrong. It still baffles me that some feel those four words somehow give them carte blanche to spout batshit oratory or prose. And it really scares me that some of those students think education that challenges their ideas is equivalent to an attack on their beliefs. -Mick Cullen7 -

It takes a lot of restraint to not open your mouth in the form of a pez and just let it all spew out of one's mouth.0 -
My 2 cents... as an Older guy... Beautiful women come with a price... and that price is a brand of "crazy" that manifests its self in all kinds of weird ways... the one's to cherish are the one's with incredible brains... that ignore all the crazy terrible stuff that surrounds them... and even as their world is collapsing.. they have the time to offer you a smile and a word of encouragement...they are sweet and kind to everyone.. empathetic to all sorts of causes... fantastic Moms... SO... if and when you find a woman who is beautiful... and Intelligent... be willing to overlook her brand of crazy... because she is worth more than anything you could ever hope for in your life...13
