I like tuna steak and tuna sashimi, but hate canned tuna so much. It just reminds me of canned cat food. Just looking at it is unpleasant for me, but I know this is weird and irrational so I don't let on, as most people seem to enjoy it.
Snap! I ate canned tuna once at a friends house, only out of politeness - it was in a pasta dish. Other than that, it doesn't go past my lips. Bleurgh.1 -

I can't stand avocado! I don't know if it's the texture, or the taste, or the whatever...but it's so icky and overrated to me!
Okay, I lowkey don't like avocados! It's definitely a texture thing for me.2 -
Kale. Kale can whither and die a slow painful death under the sun, for all I care.2
-
Anything that's followed by someone saying Yeah, but it's healthy10
-
Carob powder. Please, I'll budget for chocolate. Keep that nasssty hobbitses kitten away from me!10
-
Beets and seaweed2
-
Raw kale..... Ick. I do make a soup with kale in it that's delicious but the kale is cooked.0

kale seems to win. its like eating a spider.
I have never been able to eat a single anchovy.3 -

Raw Avocado by itself and beets.1

Kale is great but it has to be paired with something high acid to be tasty.
I would say protein powder. Sure there are some shales that are good but only because the shake has other good stuff that masks the flavor of the protein powder. In every situation, the shake would taste better without the protein powder. And often protein powder ruins everything.0 -
Stevia. And I can't get past an avocado, but I dig Guac.....go figure0

Weird how many people hate kale. I've only had it once and split it into two portions, ate one raw and the other cooked. Both tasted alright to me even as a first timer, I was even impressed with the cooked because it wasn't quite as fragile as spinach so I could do whatever I wanted to it. When raw it tasted like a green, that "chlorophyll" aftertaste which I don't mind. Is that what people are finding unpleasant? What is it about kale that people find so off putting?3

Celery is the devil's food. Hard to chew and digest and tastes like crap.7

I cannot stand avocado or asparagus2
-
kale is disgusting.
in any form.
prepared any way.

Low fat cheese. Tastes like rubbery chalk.
Goji berries. I cannot believe I dropped 6 bucks on a small bag of this "superfood" and they taste so nasty. I like to try new things but honestly this tastes like the holly berries me and my best friend used to dare each other to eat when we were six. Which are supposedly poisonous, so don't do that,8 -
Avocado, cottage cheese, fresh tomato, and any form of squash0

I love this thread so much. I don't really have another food to add I just popped in for the love of how awesome this thread is, hahaha.4

Olives, aubergines, artichokes, nasty nasty things Oh and avocado too1

Kale needs to DIE but not as much as VegaOne protein powder....that stuff is the devil in powder form. The taste, the texture, GROSS.2
-
Another Kale Hater Here!!!!!
P.S. The avocado issue is all about texture...I can't stand plain avocados. They are too baby-food creamy smooth, but I love guacamole and cowboy caviar and can eat that stuff until I want to die!0 -
Chia it is great in chia pets and nasty in food1

-
Fish, shrimp, bananas (but I will eat because..) , kiwis0
-
BEETS! They taste like what I imagine dirty feet would taste like. Avocado (unless it's totally mashed, like in guacamole).2

Ya'll some lying liars!!! Cauliflower can absolutely go f++k itself.
I think this needs repeating. My wife tries to do this *kitten* with me and no, it doesn't taste anything like pizza should taste.3 -

After making chickpea blondies I am now expressly forbidden to make any form of "healthy substitute" foods without warning all who shall consume them.
The blondies weren't too bad, but now I just save the calories and eat a normal dessert.4 -
Tuna, low fat/fat free cheese, Greek yogurt, fat free milk.0
