I still have another 18 pounds to lose to meet my ultimate goal. However I'm very pleased with my progress so far. Posting progress pictures helps me to remember how far I've come instead of focusing on how far I still have to meet my ultimate goal. I also find it extremely inspiring to see others progress pictures.
I'm 5'4 and my starting weight was 176 lbs and my current weight is 147 lbs. I'm about 3.5 months into this lifestyle change. These "current" photos are me at around 150 lbs. Please feel free to add me as a friend, I'm finding the support of my fitpal community so helpful on this journey.

Always inspired when I come here it would be great to see some updates from some of the original posters! I have had a rough year and ended up 20 pounds heavier than ever and gaining 50 pounds just the year. I am grateful to those that share here and inspire the rest of us to keep on plugging away.7

I've been pushing to get out of the 150s for a while, so I'm so happy to finally get there. Left is me at 205, middle is me in February at about 167, and right is me today at 149.8!! My height is 5'4.5" and my goal weight is 135. Always looking for friends to help through this last push!
OMG your legs are shaped like mine! I always feel like the results photos don't hold as much meaning for me because I'm not shaped that way (which is perfectly fine; everybody and every body is different!). But you are! I look like that!14 -

We're very similar. I started at 236(after delivering my youngest at 255). I am currently 197. Next goal is 174 to not be in obese category.8 -
Everyone, thank you! I'm feeling very inspired by all of you and your progress, so Thank you!!1

Idk if I'm 5'5 or 5'6. I keep getting told differently in doctors offices. But here's mine. First picture, approximately 190 pounds. Second picture, approximately 115 pounds (crash diet approach; was not happy with results). Third picture (after short bulk and very long recomp), approximately 140 pounds (and less body fat than first and second picture).

Your tiny waist is amazing in the third pic - it's great to see that 140 pounds can look so good after a recomp.6

@KrazyKrissyy Thank u so much for posting. I am fascinated by ur story and photos. You look absolutely amazing. Well done!
I was 173lbs in Feb and now I'm 137. My goal was 128 but I'm not sure it's a straight forward as that. Especially looking at ur photos.
How long did it take for u to go from 115 to 140? Would u have done it differently if u could go back? Any tips?3 -

Loving these pics! The transformation in some of you is amazing and you all look great! I haven't got a current photo because I hate having my picture taken but I'm currently in the inbetween stage of trying to get back to my comfortable weight.
At my heaviest I was 178lbs (I'm 5'4") and was around that weight for most of my mid-late 20s. I then lost 57lbs and got down to 121lbs and a UK size 6-8 because I was going to be bridesmaid for my friend and I knew I couldn't avoid being in the photos! I was also really uncomfortable at such a heavy weight for my size too (I'm very small framed) and became really introvert as a larger person.
I got to my goal weight in 2002 and felt amazing. I managed to keep the weight off for about 4 years (weight was between 121 and 125lbs at that time) but due to family issues I stopped paying attention to my diet and some of the weight came back on.
For the last 10 years or so I've fluctuated between 124lbs and 151lbs. I think part of the problem keeping it off is my age, the amount of time I've been dieting and what it's done to my body and also bad genes!!!
I find that if I don't count calories and weigh/measure my food I have a tendency to gain, though I don't eat a lot, don't keep junk food in the house, hardly ever drink alcohol etc. I have also trained regularly since I first tried to lose weight in 2002 (doing cardio and weights).
Now I'm back on My Fitness Pal I'm being more careful again and have managed to lose 6lbs so far (current weight is 145lbs), but I want to get down to 119lbs and hope I can and keep it off this time because being lighter gives me a lot more confidence. Living in a hot climate is part of the reason, at my current weight I won't wear certain clothes (like sleeveless tops, shorts or bikinis) but want to be able to wear whatever I like and know I look good.
What I'm also finding now (at almost 43) is that I'm carrying a higher % of body fat than I've ever had before at around 35% and for the first time ever I have a pretty visible tummy. I think part of that's down to having a cyst removed a few years ago and the effect that op had on my tummy area but there's definitely also a layer of fat which wasn't there before!
Wish me luck, I was hoping to have lost all the weight by now (started again in January) but it's taking a lot longer than I'd hoped.8 -
Wow! You ladies are incredible. You all should be very proud of yourselves!1

I'm between 5' 4" and 5' 5", I started out at around 185, and now I am at 149. I hope to continue losing more weight, but at the moment I'm just happy reflecting on how losing the weight has transformed my body and my mind so much. I don't even recognize who I use to be.76 -
